I pretty much liked it 1st time I saw it …. all depends on the size and skill sets of the 3 “guards” in question. A far cryyy / Nancy Kerrigan wail from Beverley, Schroder and Westbrook.

be curious to see who we were opposing during those minutes. because other teams play three smallish guards at times, too. phx did at some points last night, iirc, so the size disadvantage isn't as problematic (can't just hunt a mismatch easily like the clippers do when they have four options).

Eye test on offense doesn't support the numbers above, or suggests that they would have been even more eye-popping... had Dennis not have been allowed to ballhog. Which he does ALL THE TIME.

No no no, your rational and balanced take has no place here, it’s ALL on the coach and the other team throwing multiple players at him,
AD himself is never at fault, he can do no wrong, he always plays with a killer instinct and goes all out for wins. Never misses clutch free throws either, neva happened. See, I can be silly too, makes me look super mature and gets my brilliant points across stronger, hammers home how much smarter I am than everyone else, grown man sarcasm for the win.

gettin' mad because ham backed up exactly what i said in the game thread when everyone was rioting in the streets due to AD's "lack of heart" or whatever it is.

Yup, you’re always right professor. That attitude is great for open debate.

not sure what the personal attacks are about, weez. i said during the game that we weren't doing anything to free davis on offense, and the suns were dictating what we did. i view ham's statement as confirmatory of this fact, and i think it's a stretch to say ham's just falling on a grenade when the simplest interpretation is he's telling the truth: the team wasn't aiming to get davis going until the third quarter. and again, that was fine to me, as we were ahead. i don't care what AD's stats look like as long as we win.

i'm also not sure what open debate is if it just means sitting silently while people make wild assertions about players' efforts and abilities without any regard to context whatsoever. the pictures some want to paint are simply incompatible with observable reality, imo. if AD was who half this forum say he is, he wouldn't have the past and current success that he does. and on this point, you're right--i can't see a sensible debate.

anyway, let's dispense with the ad hominem stuff. i'm ok with snark (i obviously love it), but it needs to be about the ideas.

Yeah this 3 guard line up works a lot better. AR and DAR both have good size and all 3 can space the floor.

It does make a difference when the three guards all can shoot, dribble, pass, and play at least League Average D. Pre trade deadline we had three G lineups in which two of the three were extremely flawed players.

Horrible lineups at the start of quarters lost this game. Gonna have to figure out the rotations now as we get our full roster back.

Rui not playing is inexcusable unless he was injured.

    Bacon Pimple for the loss!!!

Wait, it's because he had to readjust and incorporate Bron into the lineup.

Play in front of who? Lebron? The matchups weren't there for Rui in that game

Loss mainly on the players for coming out with no energy but here's Ham with his small lineups again , playing Walker instead of Rui

AD had just 8 shots all game, and ZERO shots and ZERO FT's in the 4th quarter.

Sounds like some dumb a** forgot how to not be a dumb a** in just 2 games' time. Guess the guy below has short term memory.
