They should follow AD’s regimen and lose 25 lbs. Didn’t help his being injury prone but his lesser poundage contributed to an early recovery :Kobe Snickering:

Probably "tacky" but karma for Chris Paul's dirty career?

3 Games separate 5-13 in the West.. Plenty of opportunity to move up. No room for error.

if we were at full strength right now, i'd believe the 5 seed was possible. i'm just hoping to stay at 9 given the reality of our situation, though.

So, who you think we are going to pass? Clippers or Warriors?

neither, unless one of them has injuries like ours. to move up, we need what happened to the grizz to happen to teams within our reach.

No team in the West (not even Denver), wants to face a healthy Lakers squad in the playoffs.

Well, for anyone predicting or hoping for a 6th place finish, that means one of the other top 6 teams has to drop. Clippers, Warriors or Grizzlies??

Grizzlies are the most likely to implode but they are 8 games ahead of us in the loss column and I highly doubt we can make up that many games in this short of a time. That would require us both to go scorched earth in opposite directions. Clippers, I think they have finally figured out to bench Russ in order to win. Warriors. have my doubts that they will lose enough to fall out of 6th, but I suppose they would be the most likely of the three to fall far enough for us to pass. Bet we end out 7th or 8th at best.

As we learned the hard way, benching him isn't enough. As long as they're playing him, they're gonna keep losing. Lakers will overtake the Clippers.

We still have a game remaining against the Clips, so they're our best shot at getting the 6th seed.
I'm pretty happy with 7 or 8 though. Getting that one game cushion in the Play In is a big deal..

Golden State has 9 road games left and a couple of tough games at home. They will probably fall to the playin game .

I think Clips will continue to struggle if they let Russ be Russ. GS is getting healthy and may make a push

I'm surprised Durant has lasted this long TBH: He's gotten some bad injuries, he's 34, and those legs of his are pencil sticks

Slow night in the record watch:

Magic collapsed late and let the Jazz win. That's unfortunate.

GS is about to drop to Memphis. Not sure how also not sure how GS can be historically bad on the road. We're within reach, theoretically, but I won't buy into the GS demise until I see it.

It's incredible that we can, with some luck, get to the 5th spot...
