george's body language on that lob post entry that russ sailed past the camera crews was pretty great. surely, it was lebron and AD's fault--they couldn't establish the right positions for russ's wizardry. i, paul george, will fix that.

I’m sure Russ is having these problems because he’s still getting over the effects of Bron and AD missing games. :ADGlance:

Quote of last night's game - "The Warriors are taking their soul!"

In the third quarter, not one Warrior went over to contest Westbrook's corner three's. TWICE in one sequence.

As I understand it …. it’s more of a cosmic link, in real time and “ongoing” even though Bron/AD and Russ are now on different teams. The wins/losses results of them playing or not playing together could NOT be separated from the reality of Russ’s poor play. It’s a mental connection for Russ, really a unique and curious psychology.

On those instances I mentioned, you could have driven a truck through given how the lane was so wide open too.

What's weird is how unprepared the Clippers have been for this. Theoretically they have enough knockdown shooters to punish teams for this. Russ using a Bam/Olynk handoff to George or Leonard where Russ screens their defenders should result in either a wide-open 3 or as you noted a huge lane to attck.

Something about Brick though seems to mess up coaches thought process

I had a coworker a year ago who was a flop city fan, (he has a new job now) who kept clowning about us having Russ and I couldn't say nothing except "yeah he sucks, I get it, I never wanted him".

Now i want to reach out just to return some of that clowning lol

    I love this

Was it actually the Warriors who took the Clippers soul?

Sounds to me like the Clippers may have a vampire on their hands

Is anyone starting to feel sorry for Russ?? LOL

I feel bad for him, glad he is gone but I could personally NOT take this level of failure in my hometown.

The biggest mistake he made was signing with the Clippers, he should have left town and signed with a non playoff team with the hope that he could redeem himself. Then, he could have blamed it ALL on the Lakers and Lebron. Now, he is lost with no place to go and no home to retire to in victory.

This is the worst thing that could have happened to him and it's all his own doing.

i actually felt bad for him while he was still here. i wanted him out, but i felt bad for him.

and i agree that if he just went to some small market and put up stats and showed vet leadership, folks would love it and leave him alone. but he had to go across the hall...

I’ll never feel bad for Russ after his stint here. Just like I’ll never feel bad for Nash, Deng etc. Guys getting paid big bucks for no results.

And to top it all off, Russ will be the cornerstone that can help the Clippers and Lakers build a relational understanding. A crossover point of contention!!

Maybe I’ll feel bad for Russ if he ever gains some self-awareness, as it stands now nothing is ever his fault, he just hasn’t been allowed to be Russ, same s*** he said in his exit interview last off-season, which was why it was shocking he came back a Laker. On another note, NSFW LANGUAGE, but it took Clippers fans 4 games to be over this LOL, we had to endure it almost 2 years.

Signing with the Clippers was the end for me And any kind of sympathy. Definitely think he should have gone to a different market.
IMO He wanted to go to the tenants, start, and really lay the blame for everything at our feet.

Right or wrong, rooting against him comes pretty easily right now.
