I would love to keep all or most of these guys as well. And I honestly think we can. I don’t see Lonnie getting a huge offer anywhere else. Nor Bryant since his D is so poor. Maybe Schroder but I think we could keep him as well. Reaves will probably get the biggest offers and we need to lock him down most of all IMO. I’d probably keep Brown too. These guys are all young and capable; they play hard for Ham, and they complement AD and Lebron’s games. And yes, they are likeable. Just get rid of Beverly if you can for someone younger and better who can be a starter.

Deserved a bump. Solid D on BI, couple 3s (where did the one above come from...pose and all), 4 boards, 3 dimes (couple fancy ones), and the best +/- off the bench.

Who are the people here that have dissed the hell out of this guy? Have been some real disparaging comments over the course of the season and Troy has been nothing if not a great get from Rob in free agency, like Walker, and solid all season long doing whatever is asked of him starting or off the bench.

Probably those comments after a sub par game (they happen to the “best” of players) … and then it’s the what have you done for me lately? mentality. :swear:

It seems like he fits better with this group as well. He looked so confident stepping into that long 3. You can play him at the 2 or at the 3, without being forced to match him up against bigger guys. Suddenly, we have Rui and Vando for that and boom -- Troy gets enough space to do his thing.

I like what Troy brings to this squad- he’s a serviceable wing who can drain the three and play a little D.

You know it. Keep in mind that Ham suddenly switched to starting Malik & Vando.

    Oh yes.

That top clip .... there was one exactly like it for DAR too this morning, where one handed off the dribble a roundhouse pass is fired to the other side of the court and it's called a "skip pass". Where did that come from or why is it called as such?

Looks like that's what he did, LT, did a little skip/jump while making that one-handed pass. It's a risky move though, one shouldn't pass the ball while in mid-air, but I think he knew what he was going to do because he was headed out-of-bounds.

I thought it was because it skips the defense?

a skip pass "skips" the nearest player to the ball across the court. in the olden times, when you got the defense rotating, you'd throw it around the horn to the weakside. when you just threw it all the way across, you were skipping the middle part.
