Is there such a thing as restructuring a coach’s role? As in, demoting Hambone to Assistant Coach? Has this ever happened? I’m guessing not. Man, he’s just the worst. I think I may get to disliking him as much as I did Antoni.

Seems like the only way to get Ham to stop playing crappy players is to get rid of them so score 1 for Rob on Jones and JTA, now we just need to get rid of Pat Bev

OK, so the thing we have given Ham the most credit for was getting Russ to buy in. That came crumbling down. According to reports, it was a relationship that needed to end, it had become untenable, and even we were ready to send him home.

Now what can Ham hang his hat on? He better figure out how to blend in these new players, do away with dwarf lineups, and figure out how to coach in the 4th.

He made that work as long as he could. It was a situation that just wasn't going to work. I'm surprised it took as long as it did to blow up.

Ham now has a team that fits together better and hopefully he can focus the energy he was having to use to try to keep the locker room from completely collapsing into just putting together the right line ups and making things work on the court.

I've got doubts but hope for the best.

^^^ more energy sure from not having the “to play or to not play Brick …. that is the question” every game. But he needs “help”, like from one of “pros” on this site …. punk, abeer, trodgers (now that he’s back ) …. for the messed up area between his ears that leads him to think guarding elite taller NBA wings with Schroder and BevMo and whoever else is next shortest on the roster, all at the same time …. is the best idea since Velcro.

See, Vogel could probably work with this group of guys, but it’s too late for that. On the other hand, Ham’s “Westbrook Whisperer” ability is irrelevant now, and what are we left with? Let’s hope for the best.

Yeah let’s hope for the best, but knowing he’s stubborn as hell and seemingly inflexible in his vision.

Pick your outlet. They're all on it. Buha, Woike, McMenamin, Windhorst, Ramona.

But i know you don't buy media reports regarding Russ. Do you believe Russ was traded or is he still a Laker?

I haven't seen anything but some bs speculation, by some folks using "anonymous sources" like Windhurst,
Mr " Never actually in the know, about anything" but whatever.

I'd like to see someone on the team, make a statement like that before buying it.

I still don't believe Frank Vogel is a top 5 coach in the NBA either.

That rarely ever happens. That's not proper decorum, coaches and players aren't going to go on the record to s*** on a guy.

It's a career thing with Westbrook though. These same type of anonymous stories keep getting debunked. The media gets free passes to s*** on these guys, whether it gets debunked or not. I don't like that part

Anyway Russ is gone, we have some new players to disagree about now.

    No Bev. No Russ.

We got size, D, 3 point shooters.

Rob did his job. Ham, time to do yours.

If you f*** up one more lineup...I swear!
