I like Bryant, but the defensive stats were atrocious. Still think this has more to do with packaging some of those 2nds for someone else

Basically we traded him because we couldn't keep him this coming summer and also more playing time for Wenyen. Maybe we can sign Jay Huff?

His energy and punch on offense were big contributors for us this season. Will miss his scoring celebrations.

Good for him that he's going to a really good team and not a tanking team. He'll get paid this summer.

Sounds like Denver wasn't the only one after him

Too bad, Thomas. We might resurrect this thread again at some point in the future. In the meantime, to NBA discussion you go.

I liked TB's energy and enthusiasm. His scoring won a couple of games for us when AD was out. But, yeah the interior D was lacking.

Bonus: Rob turned a Vet Min signing into 3 SRPs.

I like Bryant and will follow him for awhile after he is gone. If he could work on his defensive anticipation, he could be a really good player. His offense is very good and if he could just become a bit of a rim protector and keep people for running around him he could actually become a starting caliber player. Just not sure how easy it is to develop that side of your game at this point.

for him, awareness is only part of it. he's just not at all laterally mobile, and at this level, that gets exploited. rudy gobert won a zillion dpoys...and got played off the floor...for his defense in the playoffs.

TB's a poor man's trez, imo. great energy and hustle (this is a skill!), good size, good nose for buckets. probably not playable in playoff situations.

ironically, with bamba going down, he would have had more chances here to up his value and probably would have helped us win at least the houston game.

I actually feel kind of bad for him- at least when I’m not watching him do the best impression of a turnstile on the defensive end.
