nobody asked him about his demeanor on the bench? i know it's kind of weird to ask, but i mean, it was on national television. i might even preface the question that way: "if it's too personal, i understand, but i saw you on tv looking upset during the proceedings. did i read that right? if so, do you care to explain what you were thinking about?"

i don't know, just seems like the issue was avoided.

 

I'd imagine some of the press was unaware at that point with all the attention being directed toward LeBron.

I don't know now. If Russ was causing friction I can also interpret his demeanor as being annoyed and completely over Russ and whatever was happening and not necessarily toward LeBron. It even reframes LeBron telling him he loved him and stuff. Could have been LeBron being like "its all good man, don't worry about that."

Yeah. I don't know. Whole thing is weird and I doubt we will get a real answer. It is tough for me to believe there is a rift between the two given how close they have seemed but who knows.

I'm inclined toward giving him the benefit of the doubt right now though.

 

I think it was just that those clips of him pouting didn’t really go viral until a little after the game. I recall seeing those clips for the first time right as AD was coming to the podium.

Someone definitely NEEDS to ask him about this whenever he faces the media next.
