I don't think this is emphasized enough: Lebron and AD played the entire 4th again.

This is not going to work you got to get them a 2-3 minute break in the 4th so they can finish strong. Same thing happened in the Boston game in LA - loose balls, boards, tip ins that normally would go in for suddenly don't because you don't have as much energy

That’s what you get when you hire a rookie coach, little things like when to give your stars a breather. Very tight on rotations not trusting his gut because he was never there before, LeBron is old and can no longer carry a team every game so that advantage that Lue had in Cleveland is not available here.

mike brown played Kobe into the ground n so did MDA that probably led to his achilles...its not a rookie coach thing, its a lack of faith in the team winning w/o the star out there all gm long thing

Done with this guy. If by some miracle we make the playoffs, he'll get DESTROYED. He might be cool, tight with the players etc, but he's a scared a** rookie and it shows. You don't hire "that" being under the brightest lights, biggest team in basketball, riding last years of Lebron's career.

this is the issue. it wasn't personnel, it was scheme. not sure i've watched a secondary scorer get to go iso for a full three quarters without seeing a different look from a scheme standpoint. it was almost disrespectful to ingram. you could kind of see him being surprised that we were just going to let him step into his midrange jumper every trip down and not throw anything different at him. and he was cooking, too. probably 2/3 of the league has a player that can do that, so you need to have ideas about how to work against it other than "try different individual matchups". god help us if we have chicago again, as derozan was watching this film thinking he can put up 70 on us.

If true, that’s just so bad. And 4 years? Ouch

but I remain convinced coaching players like leBron is very challenging, and he may be better wired to coach a team of scrappers over primadonnas

LeBron's the reason Ham's glued inflexibly to the dumb things he does with the roster that was given to him? You probably wouldn't have seen it if true you just aren't watching but LeBron the greatest % of the time has still tended to make the right play and or pass, as well as play off the ball so the midgets could handle it as much as they wanted to.

Yeah, Ham does that a lot. Have been saying it all year. I hate it. It seems that he really believes there's a benefit. It's true that most times we are trailing and need to make a push, but you need to make rotation schemes that give you the ability to get the win in the end, not going all in 12min before the end of the game.

It's one of the few things Ham's decision making puzzles me.

Yep, this one was really ugly. Terrible coaching to be honest. Valanciunas went down and we didn't exploit at all. Their frontcourt was Nance, Murphy, Ingram. All skinny dudes, we put Troy instead of Rui who would have given us a height and weight advantage that they would probably not be able to answer. Plus give Ingram a different body to tackle.

I think we lost this one because of Ham.
I give him a ton of credit for handling the Russ situation and creating an identity in the team and have us fighting every game. But he's starting to frequently show inability to make good adjustments during games and that's what playoffs are about (and therefore championships).

He really bait and switched enough to fool everyone into thinking he’d be a great defensive coach. Can’t carry Vogel’s jock.

Hoping for a .500 record just to get out of the lottery top 10. Ham can do it

:D Which do you think he’d hate more …. being under .500 and missing the playoffs or breaking up Schroder and Beverley starting?

Of course his midget fetish, he believes in it so much he’s willing to lose games. It’s the wave of the future- Darvin Ham probably

I don't understand the problem of Schroder and Bev starting. While Reaves is out, there aren't better options. It's far from our main problems this season

He wasn’t starting (and my money is on still won’t when he’s back) Reaves and he moved Walker to SF once Schroder got here.
