Russell Westbrick Discussion: Clipper Gonna Clip

After the deadline, there's definitely more freedom to actually bench him for good in bigger stretches.
I don't see it happening, but after the deadline we can't get any asset from him, so that gives us complete freedom to just use him as we believe it's best, basketball wise.

I still can't understand why he closes games. He has some energy and some times gets an off rebound or something, but 10seconds after he is making something dumb. It's so tiring to watch

I give the mods permission to ban me if I ever suggest keeping Russ again.

It is painful to watch him play. It would do so much to minimize my stress just to have him off the team so that I’m not worried that every crunch time play may be ruined by him losing the ball uncontested or bricking an easy layup.

Russ is such a poor scorer. If he stays he should just focus on playmaking and defense. We can't have him putting up double digit shot attempts when he's the worst scorer in the rotation.
