Good in OT. The side PnR helped him out. Doubt when teams it will adjust it will be any different then the second half where he was meh before OT.

    Still hopes he's traded

Yeah, good in OT. Bad throughout regulation. No business being out there in 4th Q clutch minutes. No defense takes him seriously. If Ham is going to keep this up, it only intensifies the need for a shooter out there to give Bron and AD some room to operate.

The Knicks have a better record than 8 of the next 9 teams we play.

Lol look at the paint with Russ out there. Also watching the replay of the game, that possession where we gave the Knicks like 4 offensive rebounds or so and a bunch of shots, Russ just stood in the middle the entire time. Didn’t really defend anyone, didn’t box out the perimeter players so they couldn’t keep getting more boards, just kinda floated around the free throw line, so typical Russ. Can’t wait for the day he’s not on my team anymore. Great overtime overall though, he did pretty much get us a win

Good game by Russ tonight with low turnovers and "gasp" some actual clutch play in OT.

    1. There absolutely NO REASON for Westbrook to be on the floor when both Bron and AD are
    2. He never should play after the 1st 5 minutes of the 4th QT

I guess I’m outnumbered here but I thought Russ had a good game last night as I mentioned. 17, 6 and 8 on over 50% shooting. He only had one turnover. He also did a good job for the most part when switching onto Randle and caused him to turn the ball over a couple times. I mean, I’d still love to trade Russ but he’s had much, much worse outings and I thought he had some nice plays last night like that wrap around assist to AD. I agree that he shouldn’t be playing much with AD and Lebron at the same time though.

Play in? Pssssh .... championship baby! @Toklat is your huckleberry. Then again it's usually -35 degrees where he lives and that's got to take a toll over the years. B. Ball on ice skates, Grizzlies to be watched out for and don't look them in the eye if you see a moose from 80 yards away. Plus the guy is still crazy enough to be coaching the game.

Russ was good last night. But it's one out of the last 5 or 6. It's like playing Russian Roulette but instead of one chamber out of six being loaded, it's five out of six chambers loaded and you are hoping you are pulling the trigger on that one empty chamber. The odds are not in our favor playing Russ when it matters.

Yup - pretty much what everyone else said. Russ plays well 1 out of 6 games now.

Please trade him if you're seirous about winning, Lakers.

Very true TIME. Completely agree and still hoping we move him. I just found it a bit odd that everyone was down on Russ for what I felt was a good game from him. But yes, can’t count on him at all in crunch time and his fit with AD and Lebron is still bad.

It's sad that that is the case. You have a 6 or 7 point lead and Russ has the ball in his hands Lakers possession with under 2 minutes left and all that's needed is to eat up the clock and play smart and get a "good shot" off, and you'd feel better about it if it were anyone else but him that had the ball in their hands at that point ..... too often. Because too often we've seen his bad decisions in crunch time.

Realistically Russ averages about 1 in 2 good games but that is not good enough by a long shot. My scouting report on Russ is, he brings some good assisting, boards well for a guard, is subpar on offense and is an outright bad shooter at the worst times. So many iso fastbreaks just wasted with the ball disappearing into thin air. Watching defenses just leave him alone and collapse on the rim is a major irritant as well.

Hate to do this after Russ had a solid game, but imagine if he were more like 22 year old Tyrese Haliburton.

20 pts on 61.3% TS, efficient from all areas of the floor
    40% on 7.4 3PA
An absurd 10.2 assists on 2.6 TOs

You look out over the league and see these PGs whose games are tailormade for this era, and then there's Russ.

Easy pickings. I could name 20 Point Guards I'd rather have than Russ. Maybe more.

I could name all of them. I would literally take anyone else, as long as they promised to never ever play off ball defense like Russ.

f***ing trade him now. Even if you get nothing back this team would be so much better without him.

Dumbest "star" I've ever seen. Ham can't help himself to play him so get rid of him. There is a good even great team here but not with an anchor the size.of Russtanic on it
