Probably …. but at SF again because of the Dennis / Bev inflexibility.

Idk .AD will be back starting soon too. We played the lineups we had due to the circumstances we faced. Bev is probably going to continue to start though, but Rui Troy, or Austin will get the look at SF moving forward IMO.

Agree they should be the choices at SF (and if Austin has no shot to start at shooting guard) but then where would Walker start since Ham is equally if not more in love with Schroder?

Dennis is going back to the bench, like I said, he was playing the he guys that he needed to. I don't think that he's playing guys just because he likes them. We traded for Rui, he's going to get more playing time at SF/PF and Lonnie should get his starting spot back soon. When Austin gets back, I don't think we are going to see a lot of the 3 small guys lineups.

So, you think we'll go with Bev and Reaves? Or Reaves and Lonnie? I don't think Ham is ready to give up on Bev, but in any case, we'd be taller at the 2. I'm just not sure what to do then with both Dennis and Russ coming off the bench... it's tricky.

    Lonnie should start.

    Schroeder / Russ / Bev
Walker IV / Reaves / Christie
    LeBron / Brown Jr
    Rui / Gabriel
    AD / Bryant

That’s how I’d do it anyway, in reality Bev probably still starts for some reason I don’t understand. He’s not playing bad or anything, I just think everyone needs to be slotted correctly. Using him as an extremely small 2 guard just isn’t tenable in the long term. It’s too easy to exploit when teams actually gameplan for you. I’d give Brown and/or Christie the minutes at the 3 when LeBron or Rui is off the court.

Bev will probably start , but it doesn't mean that he will close. The bench is going to be pretty deep, I'm not really worried about them. We have guys getting back, that played a lot of minutes, and just traded for another player expected to play. The lineups are going the change, who plays where? IDK..it will depend on who is playing well for a minute. I think Bev will end up like Javale, in starting the game, but not playing much. If he doesn't get traded.

Slick I think you’re wrong. Ham has this history / trust thing with Dennis. Seriously doubt he no longer starts his one fairly dependable PG. And Bev is his security blanket with his attitude and relatively good D that he wants. Same as Vogel with Bradley last year due to all the crap defenders we had. The guy is in a hole now with losses and not enough wins for whatever the reasons getting to this point, and he seems pig headed as hell about not changing anything with those 2 guys. Sucks for the rest of the talent unless he cuts Russ’s minutes way back. So if Walker starts again he’s going back to SF unfortunately, IMO.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking LT, and honestly.... I like Lonnie very much, but I don't want to see him at the 3.

We'll know the plan, by the end of this road trip. I expect to see some different lineups, as long as we get some wins, it will work itself out.

Bev has been closing gms n getting consistent minutes irregardless of how hes playing at that moment, why would you think Bev minutes will be reduced?

I can just see him being the odd man out when Reaves is back. His game just seems like empty calories.. he has a lot of talent though.

He's hasn't been the same since Schroeder came in. It's too bad that ability as a finisher and just able to pull up did help earlier in the season.

They need to make a move to just to consolidate the roster a bit so you can get guys adequate PT

It depends on how Reaves looks. The lineups can go in various directions

looked like he had some rust. had a three rattle out, then he rushed one later, bobbled a bit, and missed everything.

agree that we just have a roster crunch at the guard position. we need to consolidate 2-3 of them into one big upgrade, imo.

I'd like to see him back with the starters just to get a look: that athleticism just adds a dimension to the team that other teams aren't really prepared for

…. for either of Schroder or Beverly. But tunnel vision, shorter than Phil Jackson rotations Ham won’t effing do it. :swear:
