I'm still amazed the Lakers traded for a player they completely ignored defensively just one year before in the bubble .

    Still makes ZERO sense

LeGM deserves credit, and Pelinka a slap in the back of the head for complying, completely threw away the past two seasons

I think Lakers Twitter was correct: it wasn't just the injuries the spooked AD/Lebron/FO, it was the Nets acquiring Harden.

That team looked amazing (and would have been without kyrie being a kooky) and the Lakers didn't think they could beat them without a third star

That little video clip is so funny, especially when you realize that at least some of Westbrook's plays are exactly like that. Honestly, that 3-pointer is not even an exaggeration, LOL. I mean, look at this:

You start wondering: how does a guy with so much talent and love for the game do that?

Please trade him before teh deadline: he made a few layups when the game was decided when Pop was waving the white flag (he didn't even play Ploetl to close lol)

When the Spurs were still in the game: arrgh

I was worried when we were up 9 like with 5 minutes to go and he came back in. Oh s*** was he going to go on one of “those” runs where that kind of lead vanishes in 90 seconds because of his play. Fortunately it didn’t.

Seriously. I could hear Pop's contented sigh when we went on our final spurt and pushed the lead to 12. He emptied his bench when the game was still in question.

got around to watching this one and russ was definitely in bad russ mode. even had one of those 7 dribbles in iso against big before hitting side glass on the angle bank attempt. or, "the westbrook special".

i think it deserves his name because i can't think of another player who has pulled off the feat more than once and seen an nba floor again.
