A hug? How about some f***ing help on the court? That reminds me of when you're a kid and you don't have money but want to get your parent a birthday or Christmas present, so you give them one of those homemade coupon books. Redeemable for one hug, one car wash, taking the trash bins to the street, vacuuming, etc. That feels like essentially what Jeanie gave Ham. Look, I know we're not good right now. I'm not going to get you any better players, BUT how about a hug? Also, Jeanie, Ham isn't doing "excellent."
The cringe is strong here, as is the delusion. I guess she was only “tired of the Lakers losing” when Jim was in charge, but if it’s her it’s fine, it’s cool. We’ll get ‘em next time.
What's wrong with waiting on your own players to get back? If you haven't noticed, the West isn't exactly loaded. Jeannie has been consistent with " I don't know what we have yet, because our team hasn't played together much" take. Hint..hint..AD Furthermore, I'd rather see what Anthony looks like before I made any moves. If he pulls another half a season, HE needs to go, and I absolutely LOVE AD on this team.
I really liked this, you have to hope for little improvements and stuff like this, was refreshing to see something different tried in crunch time
Baby steps in getting rid of his Lilliputian line ups We need to get rid of another 1 point guard not DS but it’s not a priority now
Ton of credit for the transformation of our team. Much more clear what role each player has. A clear identity is defined Team competes every night regardless of the opposition or missing players. We only lost 2 games for more than 14, which shows we never give up until the very end. Players like LeBron, Rus or, Bryant are being maximized on their strengths, that's on the coaching staff Definitely needs to improve the read of the game, some rotation decisions and the small lineup stuff. But I see a lot of positives on his first 4 months as HC
Hamm was the right guy for the job IMO. His roster was terrible (according to most) he makes terrible lineup decisions, he doesn't seem to have a clue about end game strategy. Somehow we've survived without AD, also missing Austin and Lonnie. We started out 2-10 and find ourselves still in the thick of the hunt for finishing out of the playin game today. Idk...maybe I just don't grasp what a good coach is or something.
He's still not a good coach but he's learning on the fly and he's getting better. Now that we have Rui, I hope we never see a 3-guard lineup ever again. There's literally no reason for it. with AD coming back and Rui in flight, the pressure shifts back to Ham to deliver with this roster as it's slightly more balanced than previously. He needs to play the RIGHT guys and not overplay Bev or Russ and just play NORMAL a** lineups and we should be good.
He needs to win games period, he's played who he had available to him and worked it IMO. I don't really care who plays where, as long as we win. These coaches know way more about their teams than we do. Ideal lineups are easy gripes, until the players you want to see playing, goes out and doesn't play like we expected them to.
What the hell is Ham doing man? We add Rui, get AD back, and he STILL plays a Russ, Schröder, Bev lineup. And after how well he’s played for us Wenyen is the odd man out now? Come on
Yeah he definitely needs to do away with the three pg lineup. No excuses anymore. Not that there ever was...
I don't know about this guy: he played a standard NBA lineup for like 5 minutes. A C, PF, SF, SG, and PG and they just totally destroyed the Spurs outside of that meh and the Spurs were even with the Lakers. I think it Bryant, Lebron, Rui, Christi, and Schroeder. I did think it was interesting that he put Christie ahead of JTO and it payed off: hopefully he sees the lineup data and starts ditching these midget lineups permanently
It’s a priority to get rid of one of Brick or PatBev jezz Brick especially. If Ham will only play a normal line up with size… moron
