To be honest, I personally was quite surprised that things didn't work out with Wesbrook. OK, it's clear that Rus is an extremely selfish bastard who has nothing in his head, but dang... that guy a few years ago triple-doubled every single game with OKC!?

 

i didn't think it would be as bad as it has been, but the fit was always questionable at best. the bigger issue is that the clippers have 7-8 guys who can go off on any given night (powell last night), and we traded the opportunity to build a roster like that in order to get russ. at lebron's request.

anyway, these guys are going to keep asking him if he keeps feeding them with the passive aggression. the second part of his answer was fine (standard "that's his job, not mine"). the first part, where he rhetorically asks the guy what he thinks, is classic lebron passive aggression. he caught himself, but it's the same thing he did a while back when he was questioned walking through the parking lot, avoided the bait using the standard line initially, then chased down the reporter to deliver the "what do you think?" bit.

just leave that part out! not my job; i'm paid to play basketball. any elaboration opens the door for...well, this.

 

LeBron's stat line posted a 34.6 BPM last night, in large part because of how little contribution he got from his teammates. That's a number you don't see often from a starter.

yes. this is a huge factor as well. but my point is that we were largely there from a roster standpoint before we decided to consolidate a ton of salary into one player.
