Everybody knew Vogel was made a scapegoat. He was our best coach since PJax. You give Vogel this line up last season, he could make it to the play in or straight to the play off easy.

Bring back Vogel: at least I know that can adjust in a playoff series.

This tool decided to play 4 f***ing pGs all of them who are small PGs at the same f***ing time. Yeah guess what that s*** didn't work.

Let Sendjin cook within switching the defense.

Yeah like WTF you have Christie, JTO, and Brown. Just no f***ing way should it take an injury to get your rotations now. Nunn hits a few shots let's bench all our SGs! Jesus let go small when the Rockets entire offense was getting offensively boards against these small a** lineups

I still don’t think he is a BAD coach, because we are IN most games and our roster is trash, but he does himself no favors. These lineups man, it’s just bad. At some point you have to stop and say ok this doesn’t work, that doesn’t work..

The lineups and offensive plays in the final 4-5 minutes were putrid. Not NBA caliber. Not all on Ham, but yikes!

Probably does not know how to create or imagine late game plays. Very good motivator but s*** tactician

isolating at the end of quarters is basically what every nba team does (i've repeatedly and desperately asked questions about this). i think that particular one is on russ for settling against a bigger slower guy.

anyway, i feel like those of us that said the late game offense under ham would look like the late game offense under vogel (because it's really the late game offense under lebron or russ) were accurate. switching coaches is unlikely to solve this.

btw, for all the ty lue fans, this is exactly what he does, too. he just has guys better at doing it.

This is exactly the kind of thing you see right before a serious injury. Not sure he makes it till AD gets back unless something changes.

sit him for the grizz game and the C Bags game. we're not winning either. if we're down 20 in the second half of any other game, he doesn't check back in. those things alone should manage it, imo. otherwise, play him as you see fit.

Should. I don't like that he isn't aware of how much Bron is playing. That's not something you can wait and find out on the stat sheet during post game. If he can't keep up with it because of everything the going on during the game, assign that to an assistant. Bron has too many miles and is too old for us to be playing that game. Ham can't wax poetically about how great the staff is when you can't do the simple task of keeping up with Bron's minutes.

    MDA vibes of breaking Kobe.

these guys are competitive. kidd talks about this with luka, too. both he and luka just want to win the games, and they know they can't if he's not out there. it's dicey, but it's a place where upper management can say, hey, we're not going to hold it against you if you have to strategically rest lebron so that he doesn't die.

Ham is an idiot. In fact, he isn't even smart enough to not show it to the world by blurting this crap above...

Lakers had all momentum and Westbrook took a Westbrook decision

    Nothing to do with Ham

Players win games ... To have a coach who is a difference maker AND to have star players who are willing to do what the coach is asking them is a rarity ( Duncan , Curry and that's about it)

Lebron is going to take and brick threes whoever the coach is and Westbrook can't be saved from his terrible decision making either

Hell even Kerr couldn't prevent KD to iso and Warriors almost lost to the Rockets in 18 , partly because of it

Most head coach get better through experience like Brown and Ham will probably get better but the Lakers ain’t no on the job training situation that’s why I was opposed to this hiring from the start.
