feel like AD's been successful playing with non-shooting centers in the past. just can't have non-shooting guards on top of it! plus, you can stagger minutes so that they only share the floor for about 10-12mpg, during which you probably own the paint defensively, btw.

I like the attitude and strength Russ is bringing to the court. It is fun to watch and not only can he get to the rim whenever he wants he is finishing more often.

Russ has been playing well lately, he's also a strong locker room presence, with his constant encouragement of these young guys. Dennis, Lonnie, and Austin have all spoken about Russ getting on them, about pushing through and just playing their game. He played with Thomas in Washington, and Wenyen caught on early, to follow Russ on the court, I think 70% of his points scored are from Westbrook's assists. He's an integral part of this team. He needs to hit them damn FT's tho!!

Basically if we traded Russ now, guys like Bryant and Wenyen will be the most affected because they rely on him the most to get their points.

That's not a bad thing IMO, I'm starting to think about how potent this bench is going to be when we get everyone back. Russ gets his own little fiefdom, and Lebron and AD don't have to shoulder all the scoring load. Russ spending the summer working out with the young guys could pay off big-time.

Im confused at what Kings fans are complaining about. I don’t even see Russ making contact with Fox, and even IF he did, it would have been so far after the release/follow through that there’s no way it had any effect on the shot

Fox got the benefit of many Phantom Calls throughout the game.

Russ probably fits in better with Bryant then AD. AD lacks of 3 squeezes the paint more.

I hope they still move him need to get assets and his playmaking as we've seen against good team gets neutralized in too many 4th quarters to ignore. If and when AD gets back the lack of shooting will as noted also be more of an issue

Went 11-13 after dislocating the finger. Was 0-8 before it.

That should be his new pregame routine. Bron throws powder and Russ is on the bench dislocating fingers.

Only played 31 minutes. If he played 40 minutes, he could have had a quadruple double!

I’m still actively looking to move him if I’m the FO. Don’t want him back next season, his contract can bring back 2 or 3 starting caliber players, and his game won’t work in the playoffs should we make it, should not be part of our future plans. If we let his deal just expire and get no value back for him it will be a shame, can potentially get pieces back we can’t afford in free agency.

He'd be a great tank commander- casual fans will appreciate the dunks, change of pace and not get worked up as much about the off-ball defense, TO's, spacing issues he brings in.

That don't work in the playoffs jazz is nonsense. Dude has been to the Finals..been further in the playoffs than most players ever get in their careers. Complete nonsense.

I guess Embiid's game doesn't work in the playoffs. Harden, Paul George, Dame, or AD before he got here either.

Yeah...Knowing our roster situation, Lebron conveniently decides that he wants to rest that ankle, and skip a big road game against the top team in the Conference. I guess he figured we'd get blown out by 30 or something, and he'd rather conserve his energy for Luka.
