Yeah he was more aggressive today. He needs to keep it up with AD possibly out.

some good pesky defense at times, too. still not sure he's my starter, though.

Nor am I, but he's our best PG as horrifying as that is and the fit next to Russ has looked rough. Not sure how else to play him.

he could possibly play with russ if no other small guard is on the floor, though, right?

Not that he’s our best PG it’s that he consistently makes less normal PG mistakes than Russ makes the bone headed WTF mistakes so often that they often outweigh the great PG he is when he’s on and additionally not clanking shots. The latter 2 things too often go hand in hand with the Russ experience.

It worked in OKC, so there's proof of concept as their younger selves. I think it depends on who else it out there, Ham’s options have to be removed to protect himself. If your small ball 4 is Reddish instead of Walker, those 3.5-4 inches matter (that's what she said) and if appropriate sized NBA players are filling the other positions, then maybe.

I'd like to try this lineup just to get some data on it:
    DS/Russ/Christie/Brown/Bryant

Easy chief. I'm listing Russ as a 2 guard and our 3 s*** PGs of DS/Bev/Nunn. Didn't mean to alert the Russ Signal in the sky.

Dennis starts because out of our “ball handlers” he’s the best fit with Lebron.

That was supposed to be why we brought in Bev. But you know. He decided to be the biggest POS starter in Lakers history statistically. Who'd a thunk.

So yeah, I don’t think he should be starting either, he holds back Walker’s game. Would be pretty funny if he came here because he was promised the starting job AGAIN though. But yeah, I don’t think we need a starting PG, LeBron, Reaves, and Walker should all be starting, and all can make plays better than Schröder.

Schroder's been a plus alongside Lebron so I can live with him starting. Just put Reaves in place of Beverley.

i don't think he was promised a starting role, nor do i think it's close to as problematic as the drummond thing was. that was a disaster.

Haven’t been impressed overall with Dennis this year. I’m not saying we would get anything better for the minimum, just don’t want to give him his next contract.

i'd give him another minimum or a BAE if we have one or use it. he's a solid backup pg, imo.

Nice to see him in the 100/50/100 club if just for a night

He'd be great as a scorer off the bench where he'd have more free reign. That might have been the intent when we signed him but we were unable to trade Russ.

I think he's been fine. Ham think he can play a 3 PG lineup like OKC and get the most of our Schroeder but that only works if you have Paul and SGA as the other guards.

Would be interesting if can get that pull up 3 to work. He needs to be able punish teams for going under the switch and if he can do that that would really add a nice dimension to the offense
