Doesn't have the balls to check Lebron for late game hero ball threes and for ball watching and leaving guys open on defense. Can he eventually get Lebron to stop shooting threes against the clock at the end of games? Or is he just a puppet who bows down?

He doesn't have the balls to bench Bev's a** and you're talking about taking out Bron? LOL, i think only Pop would do it.

LOL benching is unrealistic.. I'm just hoping he can tell him to chill with the off the dribble threes please. That'd be a great start.

    Schroder/Reaves/Walker/James/AD

with Russ/Brown getting big minutes off the bench.

Bryant/Gabriel/Beverley can play the remaining minutes

Even with some head scratching coaching we have shown after that terrible start we can compete with any team. Even though we lost I think this game is important for management to see we are right there. It is hard to overcome crazy lineups and being out coached consistently down the stretch but Ham will get better. (I hope) I think this is what we needed to show so they make the trade for BB from Detroit. Whatever we got to do. We add that kind of shooting to our team and in my mind have as good a shot as anyone to win the championship. It would come down to health and if Ham can get it together. His coaching is perplexing though. I know he is a first time head coach but he has been coaching a long time. I didn't see this problem coming at us. The thought of having Bojan out there with AD is too much. I don't even care that he is not that good on defense. We can beat these teams.

I don't understand the criticism on the rotations. Yesterday he shut down Bev and Dennis to give the floor to Reaves and Troy. He played who deserved

Starting Schroder and Bev together and playing Russ/Bev/Dennis together despite bleeding points every time

Yes but he stopped it yesterday. Bev and Dennis played 19 minutes. Reaves 35 and Troy 30min.
Let's see if he keeps it next game

Not entirely coaching related, but mostly, so I guess it goes here. A good read though

    How about just AD/Lebron/AR/Brown/Lonnie.

Just for once go big and switchable and you don't lose any shooting and play making.

I have hated Hams rotation but you have to wonder if the FO is asking some things for him such as if we trade Russ, is Schroeder going to work out. Can we highlights Bev's. I guess it's just hard for me to believe that these lineups are great let's run them again and again

That's another option. I don't mind Dennis starting though. It gives Lebron another ball-handler and he has a really good net rating with Lebron and AD. AR can also start but that puts Dennis and Russ together off the bench which we need to avoid. Russ and AR is better than Russ and Dennis.

Edit: I see you had AR and Brown starting. That works good but we'll have all of our midgets off the bench with Russ/Bev/DS. I think if Russ, Nunn, and Bev are traded it'll be easier to make a rotation that makes sense.

This roster is terrible. I like your suggestion. But man, when it all comes down to it, this roster is so limited.

Is Ham compounding problems with his weird lineups and subs? Yes. But I look at this rotation and these guys, and I know we're limited with who we can sign, but man this sucks.

    Lol

Right. It’s crazy how much of a negative they are on the floor.

This is where I’m at with it too. I think we can definitely improve our rotations but ultimately there’s only so much he can do with some of our guys.

I don’t think it’s terrible but it’s hugely and obviously flawed. It’s a roster that for the most part looks like it was built to do the Indy trade. Because that gives you a real starting SG who is a volume three point shooter in Hield and Turner at the 5 who gives you spacing on offense and defense at the rim. Add those two to Lebron AD and either Reaves or Schroder at PG and you are good to go. Then guys like Lonnie Walker and Brown would be solid off the bench as the scorer and wing defender plus Gabriel at 4 and Bryant at 5. I guess we’d have Pat Bev as the scrappy annoying defensive pest off the bench but I just want him gone along with Nunn and Jones. Regardless that’s a solid ten/11 man rotation and roster. If you got another wing and shooter in Fournier and Cam for Nunn Bev and Jones even better.

    I think it's terrible, lol.

Yes, we need a couple of additions to make a real run this season.

Don't mind Reddish. Hield and Turner ? That might be off the table. Just my opinion.

Either way, I'm just done with all the freaking losing these last two seasons.
