Sounds an awful lot like Lebron to me. It's kind of funny how Lebron kills the offense and plays no D at all, but Westbrook is the problem. The Kang blew that particular game.

Seriously doubt any team offers a full MLE, but clowns like Buddy Hield are worth 20 plus million? SMH

Lebron is still a superior player, but I really don't believe the Lebron lead offense is going to work here anymore. Pat Bev and Dennis ain't it either.

he's not. he won't get that on his next deal, and it's part of why he doesn't play for us right now. i'll be very surprised if a team offers russ its full MLE this summer. very.

this is part of why we need to move russ or bev/nunn for an actual scoring guard. my target is still rozier after all this time.

Yes LeBron certainly helped lose that game. But no, this one was way more on Russ. Starting with the can't keep it in his pants, too early celebrating, too often, when this team needs to lock up wins and is in no position to be doing that crap. And I can't believe, even more than I remembered ..... all the boneheaded things HE did that contributed to that loss, just in the 4th quarter. Watch the whole video. Unbelievable. The guy is dumb as a rock and makes brain fart plays that NO NBA veteran of as many years as he has, or any veteran period .... let alone a first ballot HOF player should be making. Just the sheer quantity of them in this game alone, especially in the 4th quarter, but not limited to it, was one of those games where ALL of his bad plays outweighed ALL of the good he did off the bench and cost the game. LeBron gets called out plenty as well, even Reaves on one play.

the fact that we're fighting about which 50 million dollar per year player is to blame for the loss is sort of all there is to say.

Lebron missed 6 shots in the 4th and Russ is the most un-clutch "superstar" I've ever seen. Or at least that I can recall. It's weird: he has historically filled up stat sheets his entire career, but what doesn't show up in stats is overall basketball IQ, which, to me, Brick is at the level, technically speaking, of "imbecile."

But after being up 17 in the 4th: the entire team took on an ANTI-Mamba Mentality. IND started making a run, and the team as a whole responded like a deer in headlights. The attitude should be: step on their throats. D got lax, the offense stood around at the perimeter, waiting for the ball handler to do something. If you can't get it in to AD, fer crissakes: SOMEONE make a cut toward the hoop! (Naw, man: we got this: we be up 17 or some s***. This is over. You don't lose when you're up 17 in the 4th. Let's play it out and celebrate. Hell, I'm already thinking about a steak after the game...)

This team is mentally SOFT. Ya know who isn't? The damned C-Bags.

both of these 50 million dollar jackholes need to take a backseat to the alpha dog known as AD

    am I doing this right?

this truth hurts. really hate how that last game went. hate even more that boston would have won that game by 30.

you're doing it right in that the concept of the alpha dog is hilariously stupid. stephen jackson was the alpha dog to end all alpha dogs. he'll forcibly hump your relatives with zero f***s given. he also wasn't really a winner, nor was he an actual leader.

russ is most certainly an alpha dog. and it's killing the end of his career. congrats, i guess.

tim duncan and dirk nowitzki were the betas to end all betas. and i'd take either over almost any star in the modern era. winners. leaders.

If there weren't THOSE GUYS, they would be worth cheering for. They just play the right kind of basketball -- great defense, a ton of effort on both ends... it's too bad it's Boston.

Yes, I know how that sounds, so come @ me guys, I can handle it.

Callin' it as it is. Hey, I know only some of us are always looking at the Long Game:

    Number of Championships Won:
    Min/LA Lakers: 17
    Boston : 17

    Warriors : 7
    Bulls : 6

Those of us lookin' at the Long Game see that the C-Bags have a real chance of moving us into 2nd, all-time, in June. It sucks, but it IS what it is, eh? For real.

Teams Wetbrick has played on that have won rings: ZERO, and it looks like you CAN'T win a ring with him on your team. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think so.

    Again: SUCKS.

I did enjoy Russ’s half court heave for three at the end of the third quarter.

He hit that half-courter, and a long three earlier. Good for him!..

(And good for Ham, who kept RW on the bench in the last what? 7 mins? 8? Looks like he learned.)

Russ is just dumb. He doesn’t play with any basketball IQ. It’s clear why he doesn’t watch any video, the guy just plays on all instincts and that’s why he makes so many dumb mistakes.

It's like... he has some sort of self-destruction mechanism. Excellent hustle only to miss 2 f***ing FTs.

Other than that --- good game.
