Bumping this as one of my favorite aspects of these past two wins. Keep Bev out of the rotation.

Schröder > Bev. Just keep it this way. Schröder will have his stinkers, fine, but all Bev has are bad games.

guess Bev ability to "defend" teammates is essential for the team

yeah it's pretty important actually. you'd understand if you had ever played a team sport in your life

again, no one's calling for bev to keep playing the minutes he has. but unless he's being included in a deal for someone good, i don't see any point in getting rid of him. just cut his minutes

i dont need to be a former team playing sports person to recognize how much of a drag a teammate can be irregardless of their "cheer leading".....being a goon while also being the worse player on most nights wont endear him to teammates if he continues to be a negative most nights

If you had played in a team sport you’d understand that some of the worst performing teammates can be some of the most important in the locker room. There’s a reason why Haslem is still at Miami or Dudley was so important for us in the bubble team. Or why Bev is probably loved by his teammates for his passion and brutal honesty.

I don’t like him either, but you’re just projecting your opinions on to his teammates. I saw many posters doing the same thing with Russ last season, saying how he is a bad teammate.

haslem doesnt play, lmk when Bev antics leads to wins...so Bev can suck while telling teammates what not to do? yea im sure his "msg"...basically do as i say but not as i do? you n other Bev defenders sounds like the clipp fans who also defends Bev, calling hims the "heart of the team" all the while they're losing in some aspect due to his play

I’m not into his play this season and I don’t like him. But you were commenting on him being a bad teammate and that’s what I responded too.

I’m now a Bev defender? My god, sometimes this forum is a joke. Maybe I’m not a Bev defender or a Russ defender. Maybe you just don’t know what you’re talking about?

i didnt say say hes a bad teammate, i said his antic don't mean s*** to wins and if you're this terrible every single gm the antics gets tiring to deal with...so if you had a teammate you had to carry every gm all the while getting "tutoring" from the guy is a good thing?

It’s called keeping people accountable. It doesn’t matter how good or bad you are, if you go up to Lebron and AD and call them out for what they’re doing wrong - you’re valuable. Because the rest of the young guys don’t have the guts to do it and they need people like Bev.

Also he has a lot of knowledge he is giving to the young guys, that’s also valuable.

And lastly, he is positive about making the playoffs and you need those kind of people who don’t give up hope and keep the team engaged.

I don’t care for his current production, but there’s a reason the coaching staff are playing him and it’s not because they’re the dumbest people in the room.

well if he's playing heavy and minutes and the team loses, then maybe they are dumbest people in the room and youre projecting yourself in saying Ad/ Bron give one F that comes out of Bev mouth, did you not see when Brick didn't even acknowledge Bev when Bev was trying to call him into the huddle early in the season?

    You're not a Bev defender.

But you're definitely a Russ Stan.

i'm a dyed in the wool bev hater, but svtzr is right that his value for us is largely off the court. and i think you lose some of that if he gets fully benched--that's the difference between him and a dudley type. so the key is lowering his usage while keeping him engaged as a leader.

he's already doing less freelancing on offense. just need him to make a few shots, and get the minutes down to 15 or so.

or trade him for value. i'm good with that, too.

but don't discount that this team could have easily quit already like they did last year, and they haven't. maybe bevs is part of that.

He's going to get hit with 10 game suspension next time with these foolish comments

    NSFW: Language

    Here's the text highlights
Lie. We all know you're a dirty POS, but saying "F him" and he'd do the same thing again, that's not smart when you got a heavier suspension because of your history in similar incidents.
