    Dang that's:

    37.7 PTS
    14.6 REB
    2.9 STL
    2.9 BLK
    FT 88% (10 att a game)
    3PT 43.3% (30 att)
    2PT 53.2% (235 att)
    TO 2.3
    WINS 9-0

I don't think any MVP has ever had numbers like that, for a stretch, sure.

Another very famous 9 point stretch by a Laker. Take a guess who (duh). It would seem AD's should go down as even more famous for the Pelican's filling the stat sheet the way he did.

    45.1 PTS
    5.2 REB
    3.4 ASST
    0.9 BLK
    2.56 STL
    FT 83.2%
    3PT 47% (24 att)
    2PT 48% (290 att)
    3.55 TO
    WINS 7-2

By comparison AD's current 4-game run:

    35.5 PTS
    18.25 REB
    1 STL
    1.1 BLK
    FT 92%
    3PT 0% (3 att)
    2PT 62.3%
    WINS 3-1

Boarding, free throws, and shot%, all through the roof and he has given the 3-pointers a pass which I am happy about. The 3 pt shot revisits him every so often in his career and it just hasn't come around lately. He needs to recognize when it's isn't available and shut it down. He'll know when it's back from practice.

This is the AD we traded for. What an amazing game, just impacting every play it came across him. Love to see it, let's keep going!!!

You know AD kept us in that game mostly by himself, Walker and Westbrook did decent jobs as you expect role players to do but we shot 18% compared to over 47% from 3. They won't shoot 47% from 3 every game and we won't shoot %18 either. They're missing CP-3, we're missing LBJ. Pretty comparable teams already at this point, competitively.

Bah!! There’s no joy in these performances from AD. Almost got sucked into that myself watching his smoke and mirrors act that he’s beasting while healthy again. Thankfully have been reminded he’s sadly still a beta.

Oh, I beg to differ with their tweet. March 18, 1969, Wilt Chamberlain posted a quintuple-double with a line of 53 points, 32 rebounds, 14 assists, 24 blocks, and 11 steals handily wiping out AD's game. Blocks and steals were not officially tracked until '73-'74. The dude averaged over 35 and 20 for 6 years (one year averaging 50.4 pts and 25.7 reb), imagine how many times he had 5+ steals and 5+ blocks.

Beat me to it. I was sure Wilt had a bunch of games like this, but that was in the shrouded past of legendary yesteryear.

Giannis would average 200 against Wilt's opponents

While I am pretty sure that @abeer3 is going to jump on you... I agree.

    And here is my reasoning:

And mind you, that's THE NBA FINALS, which means the rest of the teams AND players were probably worse.

Bring the top 20 or so players to 2022 and give them a couple years of Phil Handy (let alone knowing modern skills from youth leagues on) plus modern nutrition and training equipment and then you can compare more fairly. Why these arguments always suck.

I agree, but that we don't know. Is an assumption. But we do know how is Giannis with this nutrition and personal development tools
