    f***ing insane

it's really awesome to see him playing like the superstar he is. you can tell he's finally gotten his confidence back. now the FO needs to go out and make a move and take advantage of this before it's too late. you can't have AD putting up these numbers with nothing but scrubs surrounding him

I think he is showing the FO that they should make moves. He is auditioning after a crappy 2 seasons where everybody lost confidence if he can still be a franchise player.

I know everyone is high on him but I’m thinking we could swing a 75” tv and a 7.1 sound system with the way he is going. Or like you said a Camry with a full tank of fuel.

What we need right now is Lebron back, healthy and playing well. And we’re good enough to best most teams with those guys at that level.

The move to make in my opinion is Bev + Nunn and a first. That gets us into the salary cap of Myles Turner, OG etc. One more impact piece for our starting unit and we’d be pretty nice.

    Reaves / Schroeder
    Walker / Russ
    Lebron / Brown Jr
    AD / Gabriel
    Turner / Bryant

I think that team puts us into the WCF.

75" means LCD, so that's a no go. Now, if you say 77" (which means OLED), you have my attention...
Rob better pull a rabbit out of his a** because wasting a talent like that is criminal.

Of course he is. Just like he held back Wade, Bosh, Love etc etc. When you go from a first option to a second, you take a step back.

But we've all seen AD as the first option, it wasn't super successful. I don't think that'll change too much, he can have huge impact but he needs a 1A/1B next to him.

He is the first option now. Small sample size, of course, but if it's an indicator -- it's super successful. Problem is -- Wade had a switch. AD doesn't seem to have one. He is either super-alpha like now, or beta like with Bron.

Maybe, or maybe it’s because he’s healthy and in rhythm. Seems like he’s never got to play 10 games in a row without getting hurt the past few seasons.

He did average 26, 9, 3, and 2 blocks on 61% TS for a full season with Lebron.

Also 28, 10, 3 and 1.6 blocks on over 66% TS during a playoff run that ended in a ring with Lebron.

I think it was multiple switches. He has played his way into some type of game shape, his back has loosened up the way he is moving so smoothly and we are playing the type of ball that works best for his skills. This AD is as good as any player in the league. Just hoping we don't go back to Lebron ball when he comes back. Even an average shooting night we win this by ten.

AD is putting up these numbers because he has to for us to compete. lebron and AD's whole thing was not having to do this. this was also the reason for the ill-fated russ trade.

but i agree (and said on the previous page, i think) that AD is also sending the message to management that we can win now if we're aggressive. and that's good. he and lebron packing in early last season definitely pulled the pressure off management to make any moves. and a repeat performance this year would do the same.

gotta string some more wins together.

During the bubble it was a legit debate of who was better: AD or Greek Freak. Antetokounmpo ran away with it after that and AD regressed. AD is back to that level during this run.

He doesn't have to keep this stat line going, I don't think it's sustainable for a full season, but I expect this level of aggression and engagement.

he shook off the back injury, got in a rhythm, played a few soft interior defenses, and got his groove back. final stage is getting the feel on the midrange back, but i like that he's just not taking them for now.

Actually he was taking and making some of his midrange shots again last night. He’s just playing on another level right now. I’ve never seen him rebound like this: 15-20 boards a game. He is playing like Wilt right now.

The shot will come back soon, just a matter of feeling more and more confident as the games go by.
