Our one trade we made this summer continues to pay dividends… or not. Thanks Rob.

We don’t know that with the way Austin’s playing. He’s actually bigger than Brown and obviously the better all around player, no knock on Brown. Irregardless, Ham’s giving him like 36 minutes a game if needed.

Because Ham did sit him even though Beverly was giving us nothing that resulted in clunky rotations

But not “sit him” meaning not still giving him starters’ minutes. Ham’s no dumb a** with regard to knowing who his best players are for what He wants to do out there, whether starting or off the bench.

we're lucky to have him on the team guys

Guys like AD and Bron that missed the playoffs benefit from his presence.

Get rid of this bum as soon as Dec 15th rolls around and send Nunn packing too (he's played better as of late but better to dump him while he's playing well)

I cannot believe just how BAD bev has been for us...of COURSE this guy woudl suck the second he becomes a Laker. Or maybe he always sucked and Russ was right about him this whole time?

He sucked all the time. His main claim to fame is hurting Stars and talking s*** he can’t back up.

-4.1 bpm, -.2 (!) vorp. on the bright side, he as performed up to his career average as a moderate positive on defense, which is of course much less than the defensive monster he's billed as.

he should be a situational player, and i imagine ham is just trying to figure out how to make that happen without blowing up the locker room.

I said this before, Bev's value is off the court, not 48min every 2 days.
We lack leaders in the roster. LeBron and AD are not leaders. Pat brings competitiveness, culture and having some one demanding the very best of everyone in each minute in practice or during games. Anyone who has been involved in team sports knows the value of these guys.

It's sad that he hasn't played well on the court. And his contract is set up perfectly for us to use it to get a wing. Hopefully such deal appears but until then, he has value on our team.
Doesn't hurt if his minutes decrease

i agree there's value there, which is why i said i think ham is trying to figure out how to keep that part while minimizing his court time.

That's great and all. If we needed a Haslem type, bring Rondo back as the 15th man for the minimum to manage the locker room.

Don't trade a young asset for the least likeable bum in the league who's on a 13 million dollar salary. Again, all for trading THT (too crowded at his spot) but we traded him for someone who should not be on a NBA court. When you have limited assets, that's an awful misuse of resources.

i really think we traded THT for an expiring and hoped bevs still had something in the tank. he doesn't, obviously. but getting off the salary was the goal.

yeah waiting for Ham to pull the plug on this guy. Spread his time among Reaves, IV, Schroeder, Christie, or even Nunn

Schroeder should take his minutes. But Schroeder was so bad with LeBron on the court the last time he was here, I’m not sure if the problem was him or Vogel not knowing how to get the most out of him.

Either way I definitely give Schroeder the chance with the starting unit after a few more good games.
