Or be extended so we at least have some continuity the next few years.

year two of "cleanse the olds". hey, at least our expiring ballast (bevs/nunn) also consists of the players everyone would most like to see go!

walker's on a one-year deal and thus can't be extended. but if you mean re-signed after the season, yes, that would be great. it would be good if we left a little cap wiggle room to give him a raise after our other moves.

Pretty much.. but we know what happens every off season, they, meaning Jeannie and her cronies, will again go 3rd star hunting and reset the whole roster except Bron and AD.

scary thing this time is that they know there's no third star to hunt this offseason, so if they go the space route, you know it's about the repeater tax, imo. your los angeles hornets.

He’s been a very good Monk replacement. Got to give Rob props for that at least.

well I hope we don't leave him hanging while we are waiting for other players' commitments, and basically force him to sign elsewhere vs trust our promise we'd try to take care of him. Athletes have a limited shelf life, so they basically have to take the money unless they are a star and know they can get it anywhere/anytime.

Another really good game, he was driving and feeding AD to close this game so well. Also that3 handed dunk was nasty, crazy height, and that buzzer beater 3 to close the half, noice.

Should have made it anyways. Kid plays great, he's the new (better) Monk this season :)
We better lock his a** for the next 3-4 years.

I know our dunk contest contestants usually end up being very underwhelming… but we need to get Lonnie in the dunk contest. Dude has INSANE athleticism!

There was a dunk in the first half where he caught an outlet in transition but was already draped by a defender and close enough to the basket that I didn’t think he had enough room to get enough lift, and then magically he just skies up and dunks it on the defender anyways!

I see what you did there. :)

Him plus other players with youth, talent and effort out there make me wonder at so many of the hate this squad / hate this team / worse than last year’s team which was the most hated ever ….. comments.

i'm not really trolling. it's a genuine question. we'll revisit at the end of the year.

but last year, i thought monk was probably the best vet min league-wide, and thus far, lonnie is certainly in the running for best tax mle signing.

Love being wrong about this kid before I saw how he would do on our team. I wish that Rob would have initially signed him to a two year deal. Losing him this summer would suck. Hopefully, between now and then our FO will realize that building a well balanced team is more prudent then Star chasing.
