He really showed us something tonight. Kudos! Definitely getting Monk vibes from him.

I thought he played some tenacious D on guys, better than Monk there.

What I’be been saying as well. If he can score like that semi consistently he’s better than Monk because of the defense.

Great game. There's players who excel in specific systems and I think he found his with Ham. He fits what our coach wants, great pickup.
May be a very good asset to trade by the deadline if he can get around 18ppg

or maybe the spurs' system didn't fit him, and he might actually be good in a lot of places.

as for trade value, like monk, he's worth more to us than anyone else. he has no bird rights, so anyone trading for him would be facing a rental.

i think he's here for the full season unless we ABSOLUTELY need his salary for matching purposes in a trade (and even then, nunn's probably the one that goes because he's more proven AND at least carries early bird rights).

anyway, definitely NOT the worst use of the mini mle.

I liked the Walker signing when it was announced, and was pretty much alone in my opinion of him. He is athletic and young and I never thought a rebuilding Spurs team was a fair assessment of him defensively.

He still can't hit from outside though and that continues to be our downfall

Monk is a better shooter but it was feast or famine for him. Walker fills a similar role, but looks like a better defender and ball handler. If Walker proves to be more consistent than Monk it's already an upgrade

He’s really growing on me. I like that he’s a pretty fearless scorer. He gets hot like Monk does. Streaky but fun.

He’s really easy to root for, he plays with a lot of fun, I enjoy when guys float on their jumpers like he does, it just looks cool I dunno. That sequence where he blew an easy alley-oop from Reaves and couldn’t believe it, couldn’t stop smiling about it, was pretty funny, capped off a fantastic third quarter for him. He seems like a good chemistry guy, I hope he continues to look solid.

he's doing what i thought nunn would be doing for us, and i love it. i don't love that nunn's where i thought walker might be, but whatever.

i'm really surprised that he's working so well as a starter, too. he and reaves' continued growth are the small bright spots in the very dark early going.

This kid has some talent, he fits a lot better than Talen did too. He was a good pickup, definitely worth keeping.

Surprises me every game. Sneaky, quick and I love that he has fun out there. Reminds me of a shorter Eddie Jones
