Really? So the most in-demand type of player in the league is present in all team except ours? Interesting
Cavs need wings. Nets. Wolves. Suns. And so on

I like Stan and it was stupid to trade him and I want him back. But there's too much overhype in this forum

walker's 6'5" in shoes, 6'4" without, about 2 inches taller than curry.

he's not a sf, but he's pretty close to nba average for sgs.

btw, saw several teams playing three small guards last night, for those saying we're the only ones who ever do it. i'm not advocating 3 guards plus a small front line, but there's no fundamental problem with playing 3 guards in nba games for stretches.

edit: btw, closer to on topic--THT played only 14 minutes in the utah game and was 1-6 from the field.

We have the potential to have a fairly good starting line up that can build chemistry. It can't include Beverly or Russ.

Have you started your Christmas drinking early this year? He will get nowhere near any of that, save for the ejection. The dude is garbage.

His energy and defense were good, it helped in multiple runs, but god damn man, you cannot be shooting 1-5 and 1-7 in back to back big games to start the season.

Good defensive effort and energy. Finally saw some of the Bevness we traded for. But as @Weezy said, offensively he was a disaster. Can't score. Can't shoot. Awful decision making. Can't make a pass of any difficulty, either telegraphed it or over threw the lob to AR by 10 feet. The fact that in crunch time our offense was running through him and Russ was hilarious.

Yeah, he's a bad shooter. Even the one he made was lucky.

I think he's that type of player that represents the head coach on the floor. He plays the way Ham want us too. So he's important on that. But in a team without shooting, he's more exposed offensively because he has no particular skills on that end

well, the problem is that he's been a near-40% shooter from three for years. the guys everyone wanted us to pick up shoot similarly or worse. he just misses everything here, like everyone else. at some point, you can't dismiss that "the lakers" is an explanatory variable for our shooting problems. he's had good looks.

I think he'll end up being a fan favorite to some degree because he's tough, durable, keeps in guys ears, keeps guys accountable, will not back down from any assignment whatsoever, and only partially suck.

But don't let him have a mic to address fans please. You need to be a long time Laker to have the privilege of addressing fans. Nobody wants to hear your prediction of making the playoffs. Who the heck is Pat Bev to me as a Laker fan? Just a former clipper, that's what. Get the stink off first, earn your stripes, and then we'll see.

But by all means, go ahead and annoy the opposition.

Offensively, he's attempting to work next to Russ who is a non-shooting threat. His shot selection also sucks; he doesn't deserve all that "freedom" he's getting currently.

Hope he starts hitting his shots.

Weird how uncontrolled his offense is: he's acting like a star instead of a roleplayer which is not what he did last year. Oh well: he's old

Personally, I wasn't digging him being mic'd up and the quantity of time given that. But understand why TNT would think they should do it. Yeah he definitely is overdoing the creating on offense thing beyond his capabilities. And the collisions he creates doing what he does, and getting the worst of them often .... will see him on the injured list soon enough I'd expect.

in the preseason, i thought everyone but bevs did a pretty good job of reigning in pointless dribbling, and that general trend has kind of carried over into the regular season. nunn and lonnie and even reaves have been kind of forced into creating tough looks on some possessions, but bevs seems to be looking for them.
