Hopefully whatever the hell happened last year is the end of his injury woes. He’s super important to this team.
funny thing is i remember him looking kind of like that last preseason in the brief bit he played. whatever. he's found money at this point, as i wasn't counting on him to play.
Cooking tonight. Wasn't sure we'd ever see a healthy Nunn. That he was still alive or still had both legs. Getting confirmation on all 3 is great to see.
Yeah … wow! And he’s actually kind of thick, got himself in great condition while he worked his way back. Looks pretty strong. Skills look awesome for us to have available this season.
He was the guy I was most excited about last season. So glad he made it back. He will greatly help out this squad.
Nunn can flat out score. Great to finally see him out there and playing well. I like the two man game developing with Nunn and Jones.
he looks very good offensively (still not super strong on d). he busted phx's lame a** zone a couple times, and i felt like i'd seen a ghost or something.
Glad he is in action again and can get all the people laughing at him or suggesting he be traded off his back. Also he is strong, don’t see why he can’t play at SG, he sure can score.
Oh, he can definitely play at the SG. I don't think he cares much whether he is at the 1 or 2, he's a typical combo guard.
It was mentioned bench scoring in the WMC thread that I will reply here. Nunn is a starter but he played in the Russ/AD lineup against the Kings. Which would be our "bench rotation" in the beginning of the Q2. So, like abeer suggested, Reaves will get in soon to allow Nunn to play with that 2nd unit. We always have to have at least 2 to 3 of LeBron/AD/Russ/Schroder/Nunn on the floor as they are the ones we will/can avg +15ppg. Then Pat, Reaves, JTA, Bryant and Jones bring defense and some other stuff but are not offensive anchors. The others are wildcards in the rotation It could be worse
Nunn looks good period. Wish he and Monk had the chance to do some damage together last season. I'm very interested in seeing how Lonnie looks, that could be a potent scoring duo too.
Aside from the great shooting and driving. I was impressed with his playmaking to start the 4th, they were closing him down a bit more and he got some nice passes off.
Considering we had been preparing for the possibility that Nunn would not be ready to contribute at all, he is looking GREAT!
He’s the biggest pickup of the off-season. Please for the love of god just stay healthy. Dude deserves to have a healthy season.
