Forget Barnum and Bailey's Circus, the Lakers continue to be THE Greatest Show on Earth.

If we aren't even good, there may be a couple of story lines worth following. We'll see.

eh, bevs got along with harden, who is your quintessential lollygagging star. so my guess is he knows when to shut his mouth in the locker room/practice floor.

My understanding is that he and Harden are friends but I can't verify that. We'll see. Definitely hoping he blends in well.

So is Brick going to just get over the fact that Pat Beverly injured him?
    We'll see I guess, sigh.

Cool, can't wait to see these "away" jerseys only 3 times this season.

    I like it
NBA today is positionless. You have 7 footers, playmakers and the others.
Defense is always switching also. And with LeBron and AD, you already have size. We can play AD, LeBron, Pat, Reaves and Russ/Schroder and it's ok. Pat rebounds too.

Our only issue is we don't have a guy to take on the wing superstars. But most are in the East. On the west our rivals superstars are mostly guards. Curry, Booker, Luka, Murray, Morant, Lillard, McCollum. Only exception is the Clippers.
So we are well constructed for the playoffs. Only problem is in the Finals. But if we reach it is already a great season based on the current expectations

So I don't mind playing guard heavy. Maybe we can tweak the rotation in games against those teams wing heavy. Play more Troy Brown and JTA. But we should add another body there, even Gay would be serviceable.
Size will not be an issue. Shooting will though

Just because he can defend wings when switched onto them doesn't mean he should initially guard there. I was expecting him to defend the better guard out there not wings. If he has to defend wings... insert KCP on Kawhi clips here

i really think they mean sgs, and i think bevs can defend most of them credibly. only a few teams play two super talented big wings (clippers, C Bags are just always forefront in our minds, i think).

Clippers and C Bags (potentially Bucks and Nets depending how you look at them) are the only teams that can credibly throw two big wings at you. Our counter to that is have AD take the largest wing, ie: Giannis, Kawhi, KD, Tatum. Have Lebron, Reaves, Brown and Bev attack the second wing in waves, eg: Middleton, PG, TJ Warren, Brown.
