Who tf cares about 18/7/7??

He was a net negative on the floor, terrible %, advanced stats, everything. Why are we still considering pts, rebs and asts averages as an indication of any production on the court?

 

The whole damn team stunk. That's the point. Hell..James avg 30 a game wasn't some trivial thing either..even though the team sucked. Pts, Rebs and assists do mean something bud...that's still how players are measured. I have to agree with Vogel on one thing...advanced stats are cool and all that, but they don't mean as much as they get made out to be. It's more to the story than just stats...both ways.

 

Lol..Yeah and Frank Vogel is a top 5 coach in the NBA. Well....according to you I remember.

Why? How? As you keep harping, nothing about this season and this roster and the juice and power given to Ham who was allowed to pick his own staff .... is the same as last year with what Vogel had to deal with.

 

Time moves on my man. Frank bit the dust. I'm expecting Darvin to succeed. I only talk about last season in the context of the current conversation. This is all bout Russ so I continue to point out the whole picture surrounding him specifically. As I've said elsewhere...Russ has no excuses this season, he can't control what happens with Lebron and AD on the injury front, but I'm expecting them to be ready to rock and roll too. Nunn as well...I still think this thing can work, I need to see it happen, with a healthy squad first, before I can call it a failure.

 

Can you ever stick to the point you’re being called or questioned on? You made the statement we’re soon going to find out whether or not Frank was a top 5 coach per what @JSM was tweaking you about.

What point did I miss? Ham is going to be a better coach than Frank? I think so..I think Bron has one more chip left in him too. Nope...I'm not all in defense of Russ either..I'm just more pragmatic about the situation than you are. We have what we have..I'm already looking forward to the season. Well what happens THIS year will not prove that one effing way or another. You still after 3 chances to explain your statement to JSM …. did not. It’s what you do here and how you debate with others. Dance around like a freakin’ politician. On certain hard to defend takes of yours per how others perceive them. Not you thinking they’re hard to defend of course. IMHO.

The three horseman of the apocalypse.

- Russ starts on opening night
- Russ plays well this season
- Russ resigns for an additional 2 years

 

Russ will extend for 4 years for less than the max, and retire a Laker. He'll be our best player this year, and it won't be even close.
leBron's HGH Florida trips will start to lose effectiveness this year, and a lack of access to adrenochrome will have him aging in dog years this season.
(We'll regret his extension, and may have to stretch the cripple next year.
AD will play soft, talk a big game, but never come close again to his peak play. Body members will continue to randomly fall off, and every rebound in traffic will be a scare event.

Like I said if you notice these three horseman it’s the laker apocalypse haha!

 

Patrick and Russ end up being best friends. Ham and Patrick convert Russ to be a defensive dynamo. Along with AR and some decent health from Lebron and AD we win the championship and become the most despised team since the bad boys, possibly ever. I can torture my Laker hating friends for another year. Almost forgot, Nunn will actually play some games.
