i agree. his value right now to anyone but us is as an expiring contract/salary ballast in trade (it won't get lower than that even if his leg falls all the way off). his value to us could be much higher. so i agree now isn't the time to move him unless it's a no-brainer. eric gordon and buddy hield do not qualify. if nunn can play, he's as valuable as either, imo, if not more.

    He hasn't contributed s***. And still can't and hasn't played a 5 on 5 game. Not a good sign.

but the point is that his value is literally at its lowest possible point right now in terms of trade. if we wait and find out he can't go, it doesn't change the return we'd get for him. he's just filler to whomever picks up. at least that's how it would go in negotiations.

Seems common sense to me he's not going to stress it to the max with 5 on 5 play all out until it means something, and in meantime is getting as strong as he can and in shape again and working on his skills and shooting. Last thing Nunn wants is another setback if say wherever it was (the bruise and damage) it were to get hit or whatever the same way now. Would never get a good contract again.

shhh, don't be a party pooper

we have a certain vibe going, and we don't need any rational talk going on if we want to bash bone bruise boy

Does he know the Drew League is 5 on 5? Cause he was just talking about wanting to play in that when Bron made his disband appearance.

I'm sure he wants too or wanted to. Doesn't change what I am admittedly guessing at .... just playing it safe. What if he played in the meaningless situation and came down on an ankle and picked up a s*** happens ankle injury or anything of that nature that would leave him potentially less ready or god forbid NOT ready to go when camp starts.

His only value in a trade for any team is money filler. That's it. As far as Nunn and Westbrook are concerned, if they went to Iceland and never came back, everyone would be happy.

eh, i still hold out hope that nunn comes back as who he was prior to the mystery injury, which is much more valuable than filler. it just makes sense to me to hold him back as an asset, pretty much for the reason you stated.

I honestly didn't really know who he was before we signed him, and nothing has changed. I'm just opposed to paying professional athletes for not playing their sport, but maybe especially with a situation like this. This feels like a CBA item to me. Doubt they can ever work something out, but doesn't mean it won't irk fans.

Hope is for recurring drug addicts. I live in reality without the need of stimulants. Kendrick Nunn is officially Kendrick Done.

Boo. Like the guy was never a good and very promising young player before who started for the eastern champion Heat in the Finals against the Lakers when needed and has some real nice skills. Not a great take IMO.

This is why fans don’t work in a front office.

Wrong. Our front office has a history of hiring former bartenders and strippers.

hey "If you grabbed 10 bartenders and strippers out of a bar and asked them to rate prospects, their opinions would be pretty much identical to those of the pro scouts"

    What a Complete Idiot.
He might have been the worst guy to ever call the shots for a NBA Franchise ever.
