Wasn’t it Lebron who said he doesn’t understand why players practice things in the off season they’ll never use during the regular season?

Exhibit A: Lebron catching balls in the post and going to a quick move.

Reality: Lebron way out from the three line, dribbling the air out of the ball before he proceeds to make a move with 3 seconds left. When he doesn’t get the foul, he’ll proceed to argue with the ref and not get back on defence.

i don't see why lebron would want to leave LA at this point in his career unless his main goal is to retire as a cav

If this season is bad again, a mutual divorce would be best for all parties.

yeah, and i don't think anyone would have hard feelings about it, tbh. i'm actually somewhat concerned about an extension at this point.

that said, if we make some sort of all-in trade (again), he better sign an extension the moment it's official. you're going to have to live with that.

    Oh I badly want it.
I would try to build some narrative where he would feel it would be better for him to go elsewhere. Though next year we only have Kyrie as a superstar FA and he's always a question mark

Why can't Bryce be the oldest and the son he's trying to stick around for. I'd much rather have him when he's draft eligible.

his legs look like they lack all muscle tone. He looks like the kid in the family who had no interest in sports whatsoever, but I could be wrong. Not all athletes look athletic

look at lebron's legs at a similar age, though. nothing like what they'd become.

Quite true. I didn't even look at young Lebron's legs.

At that age, my legs were pretty rocked up, so obviously if I decided to play bball, I'd have been a first ballot hall of famer.

Yeah I’m not really interested in wasting a draft pick to get LeBron’s son so he’ll stick around at like age 40-41. Another team can take that on and become the new Klutch franchise, no thanks. I’m not even high on extending LeBron for 2 year beyond this one and having him take up half our cap space by himself, I’d be happy to move on, trade him and rebuild, get some pieces from Cleveland or Miami.

Seems like most of the members on our forum (me included) have soured on Bron recently. I would personally not want him to extend on the max, but that's probably what he'll get from the Lakers (assuming he stays). Irving/Westbrick or no, we may not be able to field a competitor over the remaining years of his career if he doesn't take a pay cut.

It still baffles me how we went from the championship squad 2 years ago to this joke of a team.

it's really simple: injuries the first year post-title was the entire story. then we made the worst trade in franchise history whilst letting other assets just walk out the door. it doesn't take long or much to descend from the top.
