Damn, this is not good. But there's really no other way it could end up. The league is run by players for better and worst.

On the other hand, it's only natural Russ is in this position after being so bad last year. Too bad this is not the way he thinks, making this situation worse.

We really need to get a deal done before training camp

Of course he does. LeBron wants him gone and he knows they’ve been doing their damndest to trade him since the deadline without getting screwed.

Bet those pump you up heart to hearts with Ham become less frequent and more uncomfortable. Can’t blame Ham, am sure he feels he will get more out of Russ and wants him to buy in. But in back of their minds they both know it only happens as a last ditch effort by the organization that wants him gone for someone that fits better.

if Rob cant move Brick he should be fired to be honest, yea he did cave to ad/bron but if u cant convince players of something he should know was a bad idea than he doesnt deserve his position

Meh..Rob didn't have anything to do with Lebron, AD and Nunn being hurt. Nothing was saving last season. If he hadn't made the Russ trade, the team would have still sucked, and Brooklyn would damn sure not be interested in KCP, Kuz and Trez. I think he's done a good job this off-season. I like the new coaching staff, I like the new players, once he seals this Kyrie deal, this will have been an outstanding off-season IMO.

Because getting into the playin game and getting bounced in the 1st round ain't s*** to brag about. No signing was going to overcome James,Davis and Nunn being either in and out of the lineup all season or not playing at all.

still better than the embarrassment that was last season, as for this season if Brick is here all yr it don't matter if ad/bron are healthy or not

It's a chip or nothing for me. I guess we'll never know what it is when Lebron/AD are healthy as far as Russ is concerned. Hopefully Kyrie will get to find out this season.

I'm just curious, I know most were against the trade for Russ and proven correct. I was one of the few that had hopes. Did anyone anticipate Russ being this bad? He was legendary bad. I thought his athleticism and talent would help mask the bad fit to some degree but his bad attitude accentuated it.
