I’m ready to move on from Mr Effort even for an older KD.

 

i may look silly later, but i feel like you want 4 years of AD over 4 years of KD right now.

 

If AD holds up, I agree. BUT KD can be elite without athleticism and still have a game age like wine. Can't say the same about AD.

 

but there's what, 6 years of age difference? and again, mr. glass has played the same number of games as superstar kd the past couple of years, and only one of them has had two major injuries in his career.

again, make fun of me later, but to me, AD is definitely the safer bet.

 

Not a fan of these self promoting, poor record with actual results, clips from this guy.

Something seemed mentally off with AD even outside the injuries after the Bubble. Bubble AD not only shot better but there was a joy/passion to the game. I know these dudes were young but AD against KAT or Jaren Jackson was like watching Jordan toy with guys like Mitch Ritchmond. Winning the title and the injuries seemed to have taken away some of the I'm going to f*** you up energy of a KD.

Hopefully he gets that back. A healthy motivated AD is a top 5 player no doubt in my mind. Giannis is now in a category by himself but outside of that he can and is still young enough to be as good as anybody else

 

Even though KG played for the Cbags, I was a huge fan of him and thought he would have created a perfect duo with prime Kobe.

Having said that, I really wish AD would take this advice and even try to get KG in the gym with him to learn a thing or two about intensity.

AD being a fake tough guy and picking on small guards would be cool.

i hope AD comes in in better shape this year. he was too heavy last year, and it impacted his play early, imo.

i don't think he's wired like kg, though. not many folks are, tbh.

 

If he plays like a top 5 player, it makes all the difference.

Just give us 62-65 games and we'll make the playoffs.

 

AD should pay attention to this.

 

Been saying that for years.

 

Even if the Lakers get what they want with trades and free agent signings, this guy still needs to play like an MVP next year for the Lakers to be a title team. We need to hope he channels 2020 AD.

 

the image repair PR train is running at full speed. He's not supposed to touch a basketball for another month at least. I thought this was weightlifting time so he wasn't so fragile the rest of the year.

Oh yeah, that wasn't working, so maybe he's taking some advice and making changes. We'll see if it lasts more than one season.
