I'm still a bit confused..James and Davis being in street clothes wrecked this season period. What does he have to walk back from the All Star break and deadline? What's the bluff? I'm trying to catch the all bark,no bite, talent doesn't carry the bass stuff.

Your name suits you well here. You're now walking back the point blank typical contrarian statement you've been making with regard to Brick all season long, that I first called you on. There were no ifs ands or buts about it.

I'm still looking for the point you assume you just made. I repeat Westbrook didn't blow up s*** ..James and Davis being in street clothes did. I haven't given an inch on that take. If they had played as much as he had. We'd be playing now, on our way to the next round.
I haven't walked anything back at all. I said that Russ will be here on opening night, unless we get a young bigman for him in a trade. I never said that he couldn't get traded period. I definitely said that it wouldn't be for the deals floated around currently. I stand on that. No ifs ands or buts about it. Pull up those posts. Hell I doubt he gets moved at all, since we ain't giving up picks or taking back injury risks.

Are you watching the playoffs? To a degree, yes, if Bron and AD are hurt then we are dead in the water. If healthy enough, we would have gotten ran out of the gym by any playoff team that's not the Hawks or Bulls. These teams all have depth, length, and hunger. Sure...that's not fully on Russ, although I would argue that lying to Bron and AD and saying he would change to fit the team definitely hurt, but moreso giving up our entire middle class to get Russ. We emptied the cubbies and have nothing to show for it and nothing attractive to trade to get what we need. We went all in on a bad bet. We were at the blackjack table and hit on 18.

Bron made several of his usual passive aggressive comments near the deadline/ASB. from praising Presti, to championing the Rams shirt that said "f*** them picks," to his comments about playing for Cleveland again. He and Klutch all but demanded Rob make a trade for Wall. It got contentious enough that he and Rich had to meet with the front office to smooth things over. They overplayed their hand based on the position and power Bron has flexed for the bulk of his career.

The bluff is Bron will pack up and leave if we don't do XY&Z. He's staying here and signing an extension again because LA means a lot to him and it has nothing to do with his NBA basketball career. Without being able to hold the threat of leaving (because ultimately he needs to be in Los Angeles) or being the sun that the rest of the NBA revolves around, he's all bark and no bite.

Plenty of players have sat out in order to force a trade. This isn't some new thing, however I've never heard of a player threatening to sit out a season, unless a team makes a trade he wants. Ever...maybe you can enlighten me to this occurrence taking place somewhere. Ergo overreach " A Klutch client just did it!" Do tell.. where did this happen again?

The organization doesn't move on emotion? What was it moving on last summer when it threw all logic to the wind and decided to sell the farm for some magic beans when there were alternatives? Rob has said that he is going to make decisions, "based off of what's best for the team"? Just like the last few seasons? Particularly last? Of course we don't want to trade for any of these bs deals because they are the only thing being offered. This is what happens when you screw the pooch. The vultures come calling looking to pick up the pieces. The problem is that Rob has already burned our resources, he threw everything we had left at the Wizards including our flexibility to resign (Caruso).

Know why the media were all over the Hield trade happening? Because even they aren't stupid enough to think we would make a move on Westbrook.

What do you think the team’s ceiling would be if Lebron, AD, and Russ played 70+ healthy games together? The minimal games they did play together, they were about a .500 team iirc. But that’s clearly not a fair representation due to lack of chemistry and Vogel trying to figure out why Baze, DJ, etc suck balls. With some consistency, built chemistry, and Vogel able to figure out some line ups, they’d be better than.500. But I’m not sure how much better. You’re the Russ half full guy, so I’m just curious what you think.

You can repeat until moss grows out of a dead rabbit's a**, Russell Westbrook was the most destructive player in Lakers history.

    2021: Lebron played 45 games
    2021: AD played 36 games
Lakers record? 42-30 and were up 2-1 before it finally came down with AD going down.

    2022: Lebron played 56 games
    2022: AD played 40 games
    Lakers record? 33-49

AD and Lebron played more games this year than last year and had a much worse record. Westbrook cost the team 9 wins in technical terms. He probably cost them more when you put it all together as a season.

Lebron's mouth was worse this year but his play wasn't AD played well when he played but Westbrook was trash and a team destroyer whether they were in or out. Westbrook is the main reason the Lakers sucked massive a** all year and no argument from anyone on earth will change it because the results and numbers are right there above.

This is not an opinion. This is fact. And facts can not be changed, so pick another subject at least we can prove you wrong on again. I've been reading your Westbrook argument long enough and I was waiting for you to stop talking about it but you keep talking about it. So, here are facts, end the argument already.

Well...I disagree on the if healthy stuff, a healthy James and Davis aren't getting ran out of the gymn by any team in the NBA IMO. I just don't see that bunch in this playoffs. I'm not sure what Westbrook was supposed to change, without playing with the two guys they brought him in to play with. Both of them have said the exact same thing, but for some reason that isn't a valid opinion. We weren't any good last season without Lebron and AD, that also somehow gets passed over without much comment.

The other stuff..I guess I don't put as much power in Lebron as you do. He's been passive /aggressive with his comments ever since he came into the league. That's just how he rolls and why would they want John Wall? Nobody wants John Wall, how is that to be considered some kind of fact? Because some "anonymous source " said that? It's just funny that we sometimes jump on stuff, that we are predisposed to believe, regardless of whether it really makes sense or not. I have seen the guy demand moves to be made in media, he didn't beat around the bush in Cleveland. Those moves got made and they went to the Finals too. I saw him ask for AD in the locker room, we went out and got him too. Now all of a sudden, he's camera shy? He makes all his demands behind the scenes or through strictly ambiguous public comments? The season went left because our best two players didn't make it on stage enough. Perhaps it's as simple as that. That guy is 38 next season, I think we need to worry less about Lebron and more about what AD needs. The health issues are more worrisome for me, than all this Lebron the GM, Diva, whatever stuff. I still respect your opinion, I just don't believe that it played out the way its being portrayed in the media. A lot of them dislike Lebron, the Lakers too.

"Since we ain't giving up picks or taking back injury risks". How in the H do YOU know?? Because the same MEDIA is reporting that, that you just said this definitive statement about that were all noise and he would be suiting up again, which started this back and forth? Talking out of both sides of your mouth.

Finally…..you admit that players sit out to force a trade. THAT was the comment I was making.

I love Russ. I want to give him the super max and extend him forever. Hope we hang his jersey in the rafters. If only he didn’t suck we could have won the championship.

Bs..you come right out the gate with a disingenuous take. Lebron and AD played in 23 of the first 35 games last season. James played in 41 put of the 1st 42. That is nothing like this season period. Spin that tale however you like. It is not the same scenario. The MLE a double digit scorer expected to start, didn't play a single game all season. What was the similar situation last season? Yeah Lebron played in 62.5 % of the games in 21. He played in 68% in 22. AD 50% in 21 let's call it 50% in 22. However Lebron and AD played together in 38% of the games in 21. 25% in 22. Let's just go ahead and discount the fact that the 21 team returned a core that just won a chip, and added two 6th man of the year players and the great Marc Gasol. They didn't lose any other significant player in the rotation for a full season in addition to missing James and Davis. This team started out with almost an entirely new roster, minus players expected to be in the rotation besides James and Davis. That s*** wasn't all on Westbrook, no matter how you try to frame it dude.

That is a ridiculous take, to try and imply that a player sat out, in order to force the team to bring another player in, that he wanted to play with. The most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. With all due respect ma'am.

You can't have it both ways buddy. If the same media is telling you that he burned bridges and the team is going to trade him. How are you going to sidestep the no picks and no injury risks? As you say..same media. So again what trade scenario have you seen that satisfies both? You are in such a hurry to argue with me, but you step over your own arguments trying to point out my hypocrisy.
