umm par for the course? Anyway hopefully CJ or BI whacks his injured body part if he returns later in the series. Just like Booker giving that hard foul against AD last season sitting him for good.:Adlaughing:

What I’ve noticed this offseason is that talented young players will still perform well in the playoffs. Just more emphasis on our failure of an offseason.

I really thought PHO wd sweep the Pels, but entertained the idea they'd maybe win 2 and wear them down.

Game 2: Brandon Ingram in the 4th Q! Assassin! Man, what a thrill.

hmm...much like here, it's a personnel issue. if mitchell, conley, and bogdanovic aren't good defenders, it's hard to shore up the perimeter defense.

i think both snyder and malone's teams struggling in the playoffs are less a sign of their incompetence and more support for the idea that they spend 82 games getting more out of less, and when they have to see the very top talent several times in a row, there's just not a solution to be had. utah just has to hope the other teams misses wide open threes. that's the end of it. dallas probably will, but phx won't. and there's not a counter given the roster.

Yeah I think that's true moreso for the Nuggets, who at least can say they're missing their 2nd/3rd best players who would make their lives at least easier offensively. I think the Jazz have poor roster construction and we all know it's gonna blow up if they lose this round.

Anyways, here's former Lakers legend Reggie Bullock beating Mitchell easily. His defense is like Westbrick:

yeah, because gobert has to stand by the basket to be maximally effective, bogdanovic ends up choosing between kleber in the corner and bullock on the 45. and yes, it was all set up because dinwiddie straight up torched mitchell in isolation.

feel like mitchell has to make dinwiddie hit a couple pull ups before he's going to just let him get right into the teeth.

if doncic is healthy enough to go, he makes that an even tougher set because you have to be super fearful of the pull up three, and he's big and skilled enough to basically get himself anywhere on the floor.

Hamstring injuries can linger like a mofo. He's missing the next two games but if he's going to be out for longer... the west is wide open

Nets sure folded hard in the second half. C Bags defense and Durant choking, who didn't make a field goal in the second half.

Guess we will see if the new hero Ben Simmons decides to play to rescue the Nets. They should try run an offense other than pass the ball to KD.

nets don't stand a chance with the way boston plays D. highly doubt simmons will make much of a difference considering he hasn't played in a year

God damn Boston, they were dead in the water early in the season, that’s why you invest in a potentially good coach and not go for retreads

I don't think it's wide open. More like GSW is going to run away with it and it's not going to be close. Unless they get hurt, I don't think they see even a 6 game series until the finals. I'd love for the Grizz to prove me wrong...I just don't see it.

The Grizz played the Warriors well in the regular season, albeit, the Warriors haven't had their full team vs. them.

In a similar fashion that decimated our repeat title hopes, the Bucks lost Middleton, who sprained his MCL. Starting to look like last year's playoffs in which the team who stays healthy is going to go far. Luka, Booker, Middleton are out.

yep. this again. it's getting to be a bit of a bummer, as the champion doesn't speak much to the pure "best team". given all the injuries, i may actually be rooting for miami at this point. gs, milwaukee, memphis would be good, too. no to philly (gross), boston (cuz boston--i actually don't mind any specific people over there currently), and i'd actually prefer phx not get it because they've gotten a bit j******y as a group (cp effect i guess) and they're associated with sarver, who should win nothing. ever.

anyway, boston/miami in the east could be a barn burner.

    booker out 2-3 weeks

suns should still be able to get by NO but without booker it won't be a given they move on against dallas or utah. guess the bball gods didn't like how their cakewalk finals run last season where every team they played was missing a star

This is why I don’t really believe in punting seasons if you are in a position to compete. You never know who will get hurt.
