wait...the only answer we have from him is about his option. that's like...asking someone who has a foot growing out of their head if they plan on buying it a shoe. I HAVE QUESTIONS!
whatever. we have his 5 million expiring for trades now. better than deng's untradeable corpse. we have a tradeable corpse!
Glad he's opting in as him opting out doesn't help us at all. Now we have an expiringn $5M to pair with either Russ OR THT to get a nice player in return. Also, if he happens to recover, he's a nice piece to have as one of our guard options, especially if we lose Monk this summer which seems inevitable. Of course, his injury sounds almost career threatening at this point so I won't hold my breath on Kendrick Nunn being a valuable contributor next year. Just good to have some flexibility and not lose yet another player for nothing after they gave us nothing this past year.
Yeah, I don't know how you can say these things within an ear shot of Melo, Dwight, and Bron. In terms of a NBA career, he's supposed to be ramping up his prime. That's not what the sounds like. As everyone has said, nice trade asset though.
At least he did the team a solid and opted in. Now the Lakers have 61 million to trade between him, THT and Westbrook. Maybe three solid 20 mil per role players who will blend well with lebron and AD.
We don't want to trade Nunn. I know that image he has with fans is not so good due to being out all season but look, he doesn't have a history of this at all. He'll be a good fit on the team, a lot better than Russ. Can shoot the 3 ball and the 2 and plays defense. No, he's not a Rondo type PG but we don't need that with Lebron. What more do you want? I hope if Russ is still around Kendrick gets to start.
