I wasn't try to make an excuse, I simply said that it looks like Rob didn't give AF. The did what they did, I don't think anyone is interested in apologizing for it. This may be a big deal to some people, not so much to others.

Pretty much everyone here except you, will agree with that. Par for the course.

Lol..and you already know that I don't care either. I seriously doubt that Frank was shocked at being fired, and I still think that maybe Woj was just being a jerk about the timing. However yeah, Rob planned on dropping the ax immediately, and I don't think he plans on making any apologies. Ie..he doesn't give AF.

All our points are it was unnecessary to let it leak and was a Sh***y look for the team. In NO way would be construed a positive sign for other interested coaches. Not saying someone’s “not” going to take the job but careless to leave the potential out there of possibly turning talented coaching prospects off, on top of all the other s*** with Rambis.

You know what? Upon reflection I won't be a hypocrite here. Frank got a ring as our HC, I have to respect that. I don't like Woj either, and leaking it to that jerk was indeed a low blow. I can get with that take.

I'm not sure if Kurt's meddling is going to kill our chances at hiring a good coach or not. He did insist on adding Kidd to Frank's staff and that worked out just fine. Not coughing out the cash for Brooks and hiring Fiz sorry a**? IDK who made that call.

Stein had a Green Room session last week and said that how Vogel's firing was handled was definitely noticed and discussed within the coaching community. He said he it likely won't prevent someone from taking the job, but it didn't sit well with the coaches. I imagine it will definitely lead to more of our candidates requiring more job security, whether that's more years or more money, but it won't make things any easier on our negotiating position.

it's simple: we're not seen as a good gig for a coach? we have lebron, AD, incredible geographical/lifestyle advantage (can't stress this one enough), and a huge media market and fan following. and coaches are probably thinking this is a less desirable option than orlando.

we've handled pretty much all coaching decisions poorly since pj left the second time.

Meh I'm not buying into to that take..we won a Championship with Frank Vogel. We'll be just fine as long as the stars are healthy and playing like stars.

anyone else find it weird that he heard this story months ago and said the delay in reporting was waiting for it to develop. so i guess that means it didn't, right?

and so we get a halftime texting story. is halftime texting that uncommon in the nba? i honestly have no clue.

the bigger part of the story is him claiming multiple people confirmed rambis meddling with vogel. who cares about the texting?! some guy with an unclear role in the organization is addressing the coach in front of the team about coaching matters? what in the actual...?

That's why we need b0ron. He will tell Kurt to f*** off right to his face and for everybody to hear.

Yeah, the texting is something that I would think isn't a big deal if we had made the playoffs but suddenly gets magnified once you miss it like we did. I don't think players texting is a big deal in and of itself if its done discretely and they aren't ignoring the coaches.

I want him on his A game at McDonald's, asking people if they want fries with their order. He's more qualified for that line of work than the one he fell into thanks to his wife.

For some reason people have always underestimated Kurt, and then he took the rebound from them.

You can clothesline him, but he’ll just get right back up. He’s Clark effing Kent

Hope Frank doesn't go there. I want to dump Russ there and Frank deserves better. He'd go bald if he has to coach him ever again. I guess there is a distinct possibility that Russ gets traded there and never plays a game for them. If that's the case and Frank gets hired on first, I hope MJ gives him the heads up so he doesn't have a heart attack when Woj leaks it.
