Yeah. We should push for Rozier but I could be talked into Hayward-plumlee- Washington.

Definitely more optimistic about us being able to get some value for Russ CD than I was previously

We can’t use our firsts to get rid of Russ. Gonna need at least one for Nick Nurse…

I’m all over that one if it can be done, 2 1/2 usable, serviceable players for Russ, yes please. Would give us a solid, dirty work center to put next to AD, a very solid forward, and when healthy, an all-star caliber player in Hayward.

Anything for Russ is a robbery for us:LLLLLebronlaughing:Mitch would be back in my good graces if he makes this deal. Do it Mitch! For the Dung garbage you made this organization endure.

    Agree with this

Rozier would be an absolute steal and sounds too good to be true. If they wanted to trade him they would get a better deal elsewhere.

But yeah would take Plumlee and Washington with Hayward. They are all very serviceable players. Big fan of PJ actually.

Oubre, while a wing we can use, is awfully inconsistent and not the sharpest tool in the shed at times. Think we can find similar production elsewhere and cheaper, ie Stanley Johnson

All these Twitter gurus laughing at Charlotte for considering that deal are dumb. It’s not like the other side can’t see what we are trying to deal, they’ll ask for multiple firsts to get it done.

They have no real other incentive.

Russ has until June 30 to pick up his option

CHA might get desperate and do this trade with no picks

I'm not sure if our FO wants Rozier considering his contract lasts longer than AD's. They're trying to match up contracts that goes as far as AD or Lebron's tenure

Russ gets turned into that I will be very thankful. I tried and tried to get on board with him but just couldn't do it. It wasn't even the offense for me. Watching Russ and Lebron play almost zero defense was too much. Offensively maybe a genius coach could make them work but defensively just no way.

Man i "hate" Russ like most here but names like Plumlee, Hayward, Rozier, Oubre makes me wanna puke. These guys won't do s*** for us, you'll see. There will be "trade their a**" posts, 3 months into the season...

I’m with you. Hayward and Wall won’t play. Oubre is rubbish - he shot 15% from 3 in golden state for the first half of the season because of stage fright imagine the lights in LA. Plumlee has been labelled as part of the worst center rotation in the league. Rozier is alright, but that’s it, he is alright. And he’ll shrink in the big moments.

I’d rather just let Lebron and Russ expire and build a team around AD.

did they not see dj/dwight this year?

    as for letting russ/lebron expire:

    1. do you think it will be that simple with lebron? sounds like they're already talking/thinking about extensions (i'd rather not, but i can see why they're doing it).

    2. you really want to flush next season--a full season--in advance? i'll check out as a fan, as will many others, i imagine. there just wasn't single positive indicator that russ can work here all season long.

Eh. I don't think anyone views these guys as saviors. They just don't have to be net negatives on and off the floor which is a pretty low bar. Being able to easily package these guys contracts later on is a plus.

How far the team goes is going to come down to AD and LeBron, but we can put together a team that fits together better without all the conflict.

I was thinking the same thing. I still don't think everyone really appreciates how bad our team was in so many areas. The bar for improvement is low in several areas on this team.

I'd rather "John Wall's" Westbrook's a** than trade him for scrubs mentioned above. I get your point of view though ;)

Stan and Gabriel, two guys barely in the league, and a undrafted rookie transformed our team late in the year. Getting non-min NBA starting level players will do wonders... regardless of their imperfections.

I get that. I just don’t think we will essentially waste our last real shot with LeBron
