Hmm... turnovers and getting back in transition. Wonder who those two things were directed at. I'm sure neither listened.
If you think on Vogel side, he could be in the best job in the world. But he's actually in the worst in high-level sport
i'm sure that lebron and russ both heard very clearly that everyone not named lebron or russell needs to stop turning it over and run back on defense.
I think he’s just running out of things to say. It’s not like Vogel can say, we have a bunch of has been and other guys who don’t give a s***.
No, but I'm sure glad you said it for him. Get rid of them all at this point. This is the worst Laker basketball I've ever seen. Possibly the worst basketball ever. They have all drastically hurt their legacies this season. Westbrook by far the most but even Lebron has dropped in my book. At one point I would have almost had him top five but not now. His selfishness is beyond anything I can overlook. AD has been hurt so much so I guess his legacy of being hurt all of the time hasn't taken a hit. The entire Laker brand has been contaminated.
Just be a man and tell the truth. Truth hurts but no one can ever get you when you tell the truth. That's why it's always better to not lie or fake crap.
Since he's out of the tourney, wouldn't surprise me to see him linked to us again. We love recycled ideas. In no way shape or form do I think it's a good idea or do I expect him to leave for the NBA again. But I think we'll definitely hear it in the rumor mill.
I wonder if you were to visit Frank Vogel for dinner, if 60% of his possessions are in cardboard moving boxes?
No, but I'm sure everything at that restaurant would be the best ever as to not insult or have a different opinion of the status quo.
Vogel's lackadaisical coaching effort this season, has been just as big of a problem as anything else. He's been getting kinds of passes for this BS for some reason.
He's not blameless, BUT if you're a dead man walking, if you were given the most ill-fitting roster to your strengths, if you were given the offensive "extension," if you had Kurt Rambis giving you coaching tips, if you were coaching on a game to game basis mid-season where you might get fired at any day... why would you not mail it in? Me? After being f***ed over like that, I burn this whole thing down to the base.
I've been super disappointed with the lack of adjustments in the few games I've bothered to watch a little of. I think there's enough of a pattern the last couple of years that makes it clear he's really not a great offensive coach. When the defense isn't there to cover up our mediocre offense, what are we left with? It's super ugly.
