yeah, i don't see how he's been unworthy of a backup center role the last two years. i think there are many teams he could help in a limited role.
It's just the moodiness and fit issue. If it's a team/coach he isn't fond of, he's not worth it. That hasn't been the case here or Milwaukee though. But it's not like he fits with more than 10-ish teams and maybe they're happy with their rotation? But his play definitely warrants being on the bench somewhere.
lol, just said it in the other thread. this is the guy we could have used. poor man's marc gasol. bet cousins would have been starting for us within 10 games, tbh.
i actually wondered why we didn't give cousins a shot after he missed that season with us. he's played ok in other stops since then, imo. better than our centers, by and large (except gasol). especially when we picked up russ. a center who could shoot and pass just might have made a substantial difference here this year.
Clearly he's not the reason they're 10-0 in those games, but especially after games when we see DJ play and are reminded of just how bad he is... it'd be nice to have a functional, capable big man off the bench.
