Screw it, the season is over. What I would hate to see is Lebron injure himself so he had no chance to be a force next season.

I don't have the time nor energy to fight this war but I'm 100% with you @abeer3. Trading AD would be the biggest mistake by our team since Mozdeng.

Hell no to trading him (unless it's for 1 of the 3 guys abeer mentioned).
Yes, dude is "fragile". I don't care if these are freak incidents, he's not there when needed :(

I find it funny that you narrow down the conversation to one or two people here that don't argue well and forget about Cookie, me and other fellas that provide well supported arguments, articles, facts...
You take it too personal, is just a different opinion. I accept yours, it's fine by me. I think you bring great content to the space. It just happens that in this point more people disagree with you. In the end we all want the same, to celebrate when the Finals end.

My deal is, I think this is a stupid argument. Yeah, some people want to trade AD, screw them. I would not trade him unless he wanted out. We are riding this horse until we get there or the horse dies.

I would trade AD if its part of a plan to collect assets for another superstar.

AD is a depreciating asset IMO. The book is out on him. I get D-Rose vibes about him.

Kawhis value goes up and down...when its up its sky high

I don’t get the D Rose comp at all. D Rose was decimated by three separate knee surgeries. AD turned an ankle and got hit in the knee by a guy falling into him. Two basketball sprains. No surgeries.

Some are worried, based on observable evidence over the past THREE seasons now, that AD is not stable enough to rebuild around.
Some choose to have faith that these injuries will mostly go away and he will be able to stay healthy moving forward.
It doesn’t matter which camp you lie in, we all want the same thing: to be able to cheer for a well constructed team.
Let’s try to keep this in mind when we get to a point of feeling the need to change another’s opinion.

wasnt trying to change anyones opinion, find it odd that gms played from 3 yrs ago is more pertinent than the last 2 yrs. didnt realize folks get less injured as they get older or play more games

Huh? My comment is based on the whole of these past three seasons combined- not the season that took place three years ago. If you’ve read my posts regarding AD, you would realize I’m not in the group that believes he will magically stop getting injured. That being said, I agree with many who feel there aren’t many guys out there who can replicate what AD does on the floor when healthy.
Also, I think we need someone other than Rob in the FO who can handle dealing with the rest of the GMs around the League.

i thought rob did well for what he had to work with cap wise. Folks want to blame him for not stepping up to Bron on the Russ trade but can anyone name a gm/vp that would say NO to Bron?

So, you are completely okay with letting a player dictate what the FO does, even if he makes a colossal mistake that sets the Franchise back multiple years?

LeBron is nothing close to the player he was in Miami and should be treated as such when it comes to him throwing his weight around.
I couldn’t care less what any other GM around the League would say. The fact remains, we needed someone to stand up to LeGM’s meddling because we would have had real options to better the team at this past deadline as well as this summer, if we did.

I just hope AD will be able to walk again and lead a happy normal life. My prayers are with him.
