He's been on an absolute tear. Everyone thought he was the worst signing this off season but man has he proven everyone wrong. Really enjoying what the Bulls are doing this season, hope they can make some noise in the offseason.

I don't think DeMar would be doing what he's doing if he was with the Lakers or most other teams. Chicago has really constructed a roster to play to his strengths. He's having a great year still

How sad we missed to add an actual MVP this season:Laugh:Embiid probably gets it but DD deserves it

in fairness, lebron courted him...he just didn't do so with a good grasp of the cap, it seems?

getting derozan here at a competitive salary would have been very difficult.

Yeah, the Spurs wouldn’t have made that easy plus the obvious hard cap resulting from the sign and trade

Pop was a Kuzma fan allegedly, and KCP would have good value in their system. Trez? THT? The pick we give up to get Russ? DeRozan willing to take less than market value to be a Laker, as he has stated? I don't know of course. Just seems like if James had really really pushed that from the pieces and situation mentioned here, it would have been doable. If LeBron was a better evaluator of talent, huh?

I think Bron incorrectly overvalued a ball handler to lighten that load vs. a guaranteed midrange bucket getter and legit #1 or #2 option when he or AD sat.

Not saying Pop would have helped us or DD would be doing here what he's doing in Chi Town, but I think Bron miscalculated that angle by a wide margin.

Clippers 3rd lowest rating. Guess Ballmer needs to spend some more bucks.

i wanted to trade kuz and change for derozan at the deadline. not sure if it was explored or not, but it was the only path, imo.

fans don't want to see all those in-game adjustments?!

That’s the kind of player getting assets for a superstar can get you. That’s why I don’t personally understand the idea that AD cannot be traded because we will get nothing of value. You get some solid young players and some first round picks, it opens up trades like the one for CJ to be a possibility.

i'm certain we could have gotten cj for AD. and it would have been a really bad move. i advocated for philly to take him for simmons, but only because simmons had asked out.

oh, and cj is two years older AND has played about the same amount of games the past two years.

    INJURY PRONE!

I don't think anyone here want a trade CJ for AD. I think you just throw these silly trades to make your point
