@FrontOfJersey22 Right. And even LESS with s*** happens injuries. So what’s the point. And you ignoring those with regards to how AD as @abeer3 has pointed out …. plays the game is another of your below average, non nuanced takes.

NOPE …. not at all. Talking about some of your great takes. Talk to us again about your heels dug in stance on Pau Gasol a couple months ago and then sarcastically referenced again a couple weeks ago.

    A. Is only regarded as good because he came to the Lakers and got the notoriety …. though he was already an All Star in Memphis.

    B. Doesn’t belong in the Hall of Fame. In fact you were going to bet anyone he doesn’t make it.

    C. LeBron only started getting noticed back in the early years as being good because he hyped himself as The Chosen One.

    LOL!
You are confusing me with someone else.
I never said Pau doesn’t belong in the HOF. I specifically stated that he was one of my favorite Lakers of all time. I never make bets. Pau belongs in the HOF.
As for LeBron, I never typed those words either.
Man, I hope you didn’t take the wrong meds today.

But did the FO “not” turn over the training staff just recently? And when does the impatience of fans and their lack of inside medical knowledge of the specific injuries being rehabbed, and “their” tolerance for someone else’s concern about and pain with the injuries factor in?

I asked you recently when you said that RIGHT after you posted it if you had done a 180 (because of the original stance) …. or if you were being sarcastic and their was no reply. So I took it as maybe you liked him a lot as a Laker “separately” from how good he actually was and your HOF takes. You 100% said them. The LeBron statement was equally ridiculous and came shortly afterward.

wouldn't trade AD as long as Bron is here playing as well as he does.....but theres no evidence to suggest AD will improve on his injuries, evidence is pointing the other way and for a big, its a bad sign

What I posted doesn’t translate to he’ll become an Ironman. I don’t understand how you got that. What I said was you need what AD or one of those other top 5 players gives to win a championship. What’s the point of having a Beal, Lillard or Donovan Mitchell instead of AD when you’re just gonna get stomped by Giannis, Durant, Kawhi or Jokic.

When AD is healthy and on, he can take it to these guys and play at their level. As abeer said he raises our ceiling to championship level, but maybe you’re more interested in a B tier star who’s healthy - but you won’t win with them anyway.

We aren’t going anywhere without a top 7 player anyway. Good luck trading or signing one of those.

    Correct.
    That’s Rob’s job, not mine.
AD is a top 7 player in the game, when healthy. His level of talent has never been the issue. His availability has.
I’m never going to shame or attack anyone who has faith in AD being the guy to build around once LeGM jets. I’m not that guy.
I just think it’s a huge gamble based on the quantifiable evidence of his durability over the past three seasons.

It doesn’t matter if your opinion is that he is or isn’t. The point is he is your only bet at getting one easily.

Most of the other stars are too old (CP3, Lebron), too injury prone (Kawhi, Embiid, KD) or in too good of a setting (Steph, Butler) or just plain not good enough.

Jokic is probably going to play his career out in Denver.

Giannis might leave after another ring but you’ll be competing with 5 or 6 other teams and why does he come here if we suck rather than go to Miami that is a tailor made culture and organisation for him.

Which leaves Luka. I think we got a chance to get him, but the Mavs will fight tooth and nail to keep him and they’d trade him away before they let him come to us.

So for everyone saying trade him, what’s your actual plan? Or is it all just whinging?

Feels like whinging to me. Trading AD isn’t a very viable option and you are going to end up a lot worse if you do. Everyone’s just bent because he got hurt again. It sucks. But it happens. AD is absolutely a top 7 player when healthy. He is the best two way player in the league besides Giannis.

Dude, I have no idea why you are trying to pick a fight based on how you felt my take was sarcastic or not.
It wasn’t. Paste all of the shade I’ve thrown at Pau to prove yourself right. Good luck finding some because there isn’t any.
    Post these alleged HOF takes.
I don’t know what you are talking about. You have me confused with someone else.
You can even go back and see the very positive posts I “liked” in the Pau thread.
    I stand by my words.

Maybe true but none of that absolves AD from being called out for it.
