Oh sorry lol, that GIF is supposed to represent me being giddy with excitement for AD’s imminent return!

I think the frustration from fans is that we know how good he can be. In the bubble he was tremendous. As if you combined Dirk and Rodman into one person, or a mini Olajuwon. He was the best player in the bubble, I'd say by a significant margin.

We saw him lock down guards to centers in one game, to Kobe like footwork to Dirk like jumpers. He was on one.

Lately he just hasn't been himself. Last year he was hurt from the game 5 injury, but I guess fans expect that level of dominance every game, which might be a bit unfair. Regardless, Ludabrow at partial strength is still impactful.

There is a better chance of Westbrook being traded tonight than AD playing in the Miami game.

He also hasn't looked he's been enjoying playing ball. Just freakin weird to see guys like KAT and Jackson just go at him. I literally say AD make both look like they wanted to go to momma after he totally dominated them with the Lakers.

He's not old: he should still be able to be that guy

Thanks but yeah no doubt Kobe is a top 3 player of all time, but my point being is that I still trust LBJ and AD to get us to the promised land, even if AD hasn’t looked like himself—he just needs to get healthy which I believe he will, similar to how we trusted Kobe to take us to the promised land—he just needed some extra help.

Yeah we all gotta be a little patient.

Remember when Tim Duncan and David Robinson were coming back from injuries and they kept getting dunked on by Vlade Divac and Elden Campbell? I was on top of the world! Until everything went back to normal and Duncan and Robinson went back to dominating us.

That’s kinda similar here. AD just needs to get his feet under him and of course adjust to an almost entirely new squad. Not fun, hence I don’t like our chances this year, but we know what he’s capable of, and that’s the best, most realistic hope we have at the moment.

Re: KAT …. ummm have you not taken a good look at him this year? He’s a lot bigger than AD even after AD roided up over the summer ;) then his testicles shrunk  so now he’s off the juice and dropping the 10-20 (?) lbs and back to his weaker self.

I said the morning after that game that KAT was huge compared to AD and much more skilled in the post offensively than him.

This morning @abeer3 said basically the same thing in the Other Teams thread, “i remember all the crying after KAT had a big game on us. um...have you watched KAT play in other games? he's an offensive machine, and he's huge. it happens. AD also stoodhim up and blocked him. but that stuffdoesn't count because narratives.”

I think KAT put a lot of work into those muscles and that offensive game and ain’t going to be losing it any time soon, and AD needs to be lighter to chase guards on the perimeter again. …. so doubtful he’ll be making KAT want to be running home to momma again anytime soon.

So cause of AD lurking and seeing your harping about him being FAT he’s been on one of those trendy diets while out. Happy? Keep yer yap shut about him getting his a** in the paint now.

I had zero expectation of AD starting his first game back vs Bam.

I’m excited, especially since if we lose games now I won’t have to hear any more excuses.

Can't wait for the "he needs a few games to shake off the rust" and when the losses increases, "trade him!".
