Retaliate, simple. Send a message by knocking out that dirty POS. Use an end of the bench guy, problem solved. I guarantee Allen won't do it ever again.
How can the league look at that play in slow mo numerous angles and not suspend him for a good number of games and “big” fine? Clear as day his intent was to knock him off balance in the air (where the risk of severe injury is greatest) or blatantly didn’t care if he did if that wasn’t intentional. Weighed with his history.
They suspended Metta for the Harden accident, the bearded fool went into Peace’s right of way lol, this one is premeditated, suspension should be the rest of the season too
There are some NBA players you just can't stand, and you have your reasons. Some guys just annoy you when you watch them. I have always effing hated Grayson Allen. He's dirty and acts like a d-bag. Now, I really want someone to hurt that muthaf*****. ONE game? Imagine some putz pushing another player into AD's leg, on purpose, just as the Lakers start to play well. Out for the season. Adam Silver would bring down the HAMMER and suspend the player for one game. That'd show him!
Too bad he and Beverly can’t tangle in the air and both have NBA ending injuries with the landing. Priceless.
Derrick Jones got called for a Flagrant 1 on that POS Grayson Allen tonight. The good news: the fans wanted it and got it. The bad news: Allen wasn't carried off on a stretcher.
More bad news: Tristan Thompson talked all revenge smack and didn’t get one too. And Bulls lost the game.
This is the first game the Bulls have held an opponent to under 100 points since the game against the Bucks in which Alex Caruso was injured. Today was his first game back. A record of 20-9 with Caruso. A 57 win pace. A record of 21-17 without him. A 45 win pace.
Nah, a role player like Caruso doesn’t impact winning like that. Stats may say he does, they may say he’s one of the leagues best defenders, that he works incredibly well next to stars like LeBron and DeRozan that have the ball in their hands a lot, but it’s all untrue, he’s a dime a dozen.
We all know he’s a scrub and can be replaced by any Mediocre player. Just plug and play the next g league talent guy into the lineup to take his place.
And obviously he doesn’t account for ALL those wins or the drop off from being out, there are other factors along the way. But the fact is he contributes to winning basketball, players like him are super important, they are glue guys, guys that don’t need the ball to impact the game, do all the little things, are momentum shifters. He alone isn’t going to make or break a team, it’s that he’s a very important puzzle piece, he makes the rest of the picture clearer or come together.
