Read a few of the comments on that tweet. One guy said Russ was glaring at Vogel in the MN game several back because he was taken out around the 7 minute mark in the 4th, pulled his shirt out and wrapped his knees. Then Frank put him back in with 2-3 minutes left. Honestly it’s time to break out the 6 letter “C” word that ends in “R”. He thinks because he’s sacrificing stats for us and not being able to play as he’s always played on offense that he’s still not killing us most games in some way with the ever ready brain farts at the worst times and especially on defense. So what chance does Vogel have now? LeBron and AD’s “signing” hates Vogel’s guts now. What a cluster ****.

And Russ isn’t?? Just check his behaviour after getting benched.

I’m no fan of Schroder but Westbrook is worse by every metric and makes 44 million.

As Khmrp said, they are/were both awful. There's no point of arguing more.

I don't get your agenda here

My agenda is displaying frustration that he cost a 1st, KCP, Kuz, Harrell and ultimately Caruso to be a worse version of Schroder, and takes up 44 million of the cap...I agree we don't need to argue.

schroder pissed me off for not accepting a bench role to start with; russ is going to piss me off for not accepting it now.

and seriously, his pouting is ridiculous. you're playing like s*** and have done so for four months. sit down and shut up.

It's not his fault, he has been the same all his career. The fault is of those who chose him (friendly tip: Lebron's thread is a bit lower in the screen)

Oh I've already talked his GMing skills numerous times in the correct thread. This is the Westbrook thread where we discuss things pertaining to him so that's why I'm in here. If you want to discuss Lebron, you know where to find the thread.

Interesting that our small ball was designed for Bron and not Russ. I guess depending on how deep you want to get with it, it was still because of Russ. Had he not been here, we wouldn't have to construct lineups that way. But I don't think leaving Russ to figure it out for himself is/was going to be a very successful recipe for anyone involved.

Russ can't shoot, they resorted to small ball to add more spacing. Rockets did the same thing.

I feel they resorted to small ball because Lebron couldn’t drive by people and then beat the C behind them. Russ has actually struggled quite a bit since then, not sure why…

I'm curious where the information, "Russ was left to figure out his role for himself" is coming from. Does that sound like something a staff that is struggling with his play and trying to figure out how to keep him from disrupting and hurting the team's play would do? All 3 assistants and Vogel would do that?

Depends when they got that info. If it's from this week, yeah I buy that it came from the coaches. They thought it was Vogel’s last game going into the Jazz game and after the Indy game (when Frank openly said he played the 5 guys who gave him the best chance to win). At both of those points, I imagine the floodgates were wide open for journalists these guys trust and know they won't make them look bad.

He couldn't in large part because everyone packs the paint with Russ. His best spot in the halfcourt is in the dunker spot so that means you can't play another big who isn't a stretch guy

I sure would had liked to hear Kobe's perspective of this Russell dilemma that the Lakers are going through right now.

He was brought here to help Lebron but I don't think he's used correctly either.

He's responsible for the bad shots and turnovers too. The FO and players up close know his deal and we still traded for him out of his desperation. Such idiocy
