He should start over Ariza. He plays with force. The energy and activity from him and Reaves wear opponents down.
LOL. Am happy it worked out well like that and if true that LeBron called it out … but that guy never misses an opportunity to call attention to what he did, including again mentioning how he watched tape on AR in college.
wasn't even an offensive foul; just a strong move. well, or...they've all watched teams do this to rudy in big moments in the playoffs, like when terrence mann got a multi-year contract for doing this to put utah out of the playoffs just last year? i will give credit to vogel here because even if you've seen it work, it takes balls to put the game in the hands of your 10-day contract player instead of lebron or russ, just because the strategy makes sense. if johnson had failed, vogel would be getting roasted by the twitter coaches.
Lebron called for him to do because he couldn't do it himself. That's a big deal. Knowing your limits and letting others shine.
Can someone please explain to me why this kid isn't signed yet? Him, Reaves and Monk are very good, young, with legit size and plenty of hustle... I'd love to watch them play for us in the future.
lock him up for two years, please. let's have reaves and johnson on mins and playing 25mpg for us next year. return all these guys: dwight AD/stan lebron/melo monk/reaves russ (on extension at a big discount)/nunn then focus on getting a mobile center or a shooting center option plus a wing defender in exchange for THT, if possible. obviously, i'd prefer keeping THT and shipping russ for those things, but i just don't see it.
Going forward once AD returns, I’d like to see this rotation: AD/Dwight Stan/Melo/Ariza Lebron/THT Monk/Reaves Russ/Bradley I think Stan’s hustle will invigorate AD. Sure the spacing sucks, but at this point we need effort.
