this isnt much different then Kobe playing free safety in his latter yrs, yes you can expect Bron to try more but I understand if he isnt doing more on Def when the team is still so reliant on his offense

Lebron has thrown in the towel and chasing Kareem now. Seemed pretty evident last night.

Sorry, you literally can’t because you shipped out all of your help. Thanks for the apology, though.
You should actually apologize to us for overstepping your role by convincing Rob that Russ along with a bunch of minimum contracts would work.

I like this apology. Although, we probably don't have the supporting cast to go anywhere this season. I do expect the team to compete and work hard every night though.

I am OK with the apology, but I don't see how they can be better.

His PR department reads message boards

he’s always pretended to care what fans think

sorry isn’t enough. Show us change.

Posted that before we got AD and won the chip

Unfortunately, no more assets left. I just pray we miraculously get off Russ somehow.

I appreciate the apology but don’t make promises… actions speak louder than words.

A lot of the team pointed to effort being the main problem at the start of the season. Pass the half way mark and effort is still a big issues.

After a particularly bad performance, AD said something like, "We could win 10 straight..." How has that worked out?

One of our guys - was it 'Melo? - said around 10 days ago that the Lakers are like Team X that..came on strong in the 2nd half of the season. Yea, we're still waiting.

After the Denver Debacle, Russ took issue with Magic's tweet about how the fans deserve better, and Russ's response was "That's his opinion." (It's everyone's "opinion", Russ. Everyone who's a Laker fan. What part of Magic's tweet did you "disagree" with? Fer crissakes! Watch the tape!)

Now Lebron "promises" the Lakers will be better. Imma sit back in my chair and watch to see if he and his teammates (who can't be bothered to put in the effort to play D for more than 30 of the 48 minutes in just about any game this year, with a few exceptions) make good on this promise. I think Lebron will go all-out. Hope he doesn't get hurt. I am not so sure about his teammates. We'll see.

You can't win 4 straight, then expect other teams to lie down for you. You have to play D for 48 minutes or FORGET ABOUT IT. I'm not optimistic.

Prove me - and those of you who are kinda disgusted with this team, this year - wrong, Lakers.

If they continue playing lots of minutes of Lebron at Center its obvious the Lakers dont care about winning and are catering to his stat padding and wanting to maximize him on offense
