I sure hope we keep him after AD comes back. If they are serious about winning it all this season, they will. There’s no guarantee that when AD comes back, he won’t go down again with another injury.
He’s our Caruso to me. Does the little things that doesn’t show up on the box score but are vitally important. Definitely a keeper.
yeah, hadn't seen anyone mention that he made two consecutive deflections (i think mid-third when the game was still close) that really blew the game open. just really big defensive plays that probably didn't even register as steals, but they were. think we went from up for to up 8 or more in that stretch, and it sucked the air out of atlanta.
He has definitely made shots and 3 point shots and put the ball on the floor to go to the rim. The guy is not without skills in place to be further developed. They'd be fools not to keep him on, no matter what else they may pull off.
Sign the kid already. He’s one of the few guys on this team who has given 110% effort on the court. It’s obvious we need his youthful energy.
I kind of hope some other team swoops in and signs him for the season so he gets his security and we look stupid for balancing some ridiculous luxury tax thing and “maintaining flexibility”. Bunch of nonsense. Unless we are trading Russ, we won’t have 3 or 4 players coming in for 1, and Baze and DJ can be waived at any time.
I understand its not my money, but when you go all in on superstars and then start getting cheap at the end of it.....it will save you money but cost you from having a truly great product.
He’s eligible for a 2nd 10-day, first one was a hardship one. They’ll give him that and he’ll continue to risk injury and being cut so the Lakers can save a few thousand dollars.
the mavs waived wcs's 4 million so they could sign chriss instead of letting him walk after a couple good 10-days.
