He needs to rest until the week before the All star break, then play 2-3 games to get some legs under him, rest during AS break and then get ready to go

So, who voted AD as an All Star?

I know it won't happen but AD needs to come off the bench and play around 15-20 minutes a game for 8-10 games. Work his way into shape against bench guys. We are going to have a rhythm by then and just throwing him back into the starting lineup will mess it up. If he gets hurt again in the first week it won't throw us off as much coming off the bench. He will have a chance to show that he is serious about playing this time and earn his position and minutes like everyone else.

If only these guys didn’t have such fragile egos, it could work.

Swear to G you continue to speak as if he truly did get FAT and the weight he put on over the summer wasn’t ripped muscle that gave Vogel a stiffy when he saw him for the first time?

AD needs to get healthier mentally and physically. He's in the middle of his prime and he should be striving to be an MVP caliber player carrying a championship team.

We generally look at Embiid as an injury riddled player and he has played as many games as AD in the last 5 years which is very disturbing.

Health is a big factor but right now Embiid, Jokic, Giannis and Towns look like they have surpassed him because AD is rarely mentally and physically right and is affecting his availability and contributions to this team.

Pb with AD is he used to be often injured in NO but it was not serious and he played 67.5 in average in his 1st 6 seasons .

Now it looks like he is going to miss 30+ games for the 2nd straight season .

If this is the trend going forward , we won't be able to compete for a title again anytime soon

A trend? It was a s*** happens injury. Leg planted and big guy bounces off LeBron and into AD's knee. A lot here seem to just lump that into being "injury prone". LeBron was rolling last year in peak health until another s*** happens injury with a big guy rolling onto his leg while going for a ball and causing the lengthy high ankle sprain injury. How about some common sense here? There were extenuating circumstances as well last year with the month off only after the title run and injuring his calf/achilles area at the end of that, and then playing real games so soon after again. Whatever, keep banging on the guy whoever thinks he should be impervious to this stuff.

yeah, he had a pretty major injury that he played through to deliver the title and that lingered over a very short offseason. then its lingering effects caught up to him in the playoffs that year.

this year, a guy rolled into his knee.

klay thompson just played his first game in two years, and i'm guessing everyone would trade AD for him right now, but that's just kind of the forum, i guess.
